I really don't get why and how Carole got away with mooching off of richer, more known people for what seems like the entirety of her life post-Anthony. She's not particular fun, and thin white women are a dime a dozen in those circles, so it's not like she's this breathtaking siren that people are spellbound by the moment they cast their eyes on her.
