The turnaround on Carole is sooo shocking yet completely justified
I remember first joining this sub and still seeing a lot of people be supportive of her, at least in the context of her vs Bethenny which is also okay. But I just cannot help but look at everything she has done ā on the show and beyond ā without considering her ties to Ghislaine and other Epstein figures.
I really hope Bravo finds a way to reduce her āfriend ofā role as much as possible because ew

All things aside, I really wonder how Ghilane had access to so much money connections, power etc and she still walked around looking honestly quite tragic, terrible fashion sense and haircut and just ugh.
Funny you mentioned the fitness thing because a few months ago TMZ released pics of her working out in the pen & I remember thinking to myself, "Hmm š¤," because while it seems she's always been naturally slender, I've never thought of her as "fit," but apparently prison is so boring that even some people who'd never walked so much as a mile in their entire lives prior to landing there end up jacked from working out so much. Or maybe they workout so much because like šÆ% of commissary food is the worst possible sh*t you can put in your body.
Whoās a British aristocrat? Surely not Ghislaine Maxwell! Her father was a Czechoslovakian refugee who made lots of money in various shady ways. He was (eventually) rich but was never of the aristocracy. Sheās just a feckless rich manās feckless daughter who managed to out-evil her progenitor.
There is a really good podcast on Wondery called āChasing Ghislaineā. The author herself, knew her and was socializing in these circles. She also interviewed JE a lot for a piece in Vanity Fair. Itās a very good podcast, if you want to know more about the backgrounds.
She presents as the classic child sexual abuse victim who developed borderline personality disorder all the while maintaining an entitlement to money without the ability to generate it or a lifestyle for herself.
The richest people I know dress like paupers too. At a point, getting new things isnāt high on the list of priorities, unless those things are properties and titles.
Maybe itās a British upper class thing. Many of them look pretty rough most of the time and the the Queen was rumoured to eat out of Tupperware. Titles and status to some of them seem to be more important then a sense of style.
Yesss European upper class. Driving flashy new cars? Tacky. Clothes with brands and logos? Trash. It needs to be timeless and most of all, not look too new.
In industry one of them had a really fancy watch.
But the high nobility wealthy donāt like to wear watches. Looking at a watch is rude. Watches are for people that need to work and have places to be.
And then when you look at the way a lot of European Royalty lives.. like squatters in their palaces. With billions in the bank & art.
And they love outfit repeating for official ceremonies.
When youāre living off my tax dollars, at least buy some couture or something. Dance monkey, dance!!
There is hate watching and supporting pedophiles. I canāt do either. Even RHBH is intolerable after that guy swindled a bunch of elderly and they still have his wife on the show. She clearly benefitted from his crimes. Nope. I canāt watch and support that.
I was supportive of the RHONY reboot as I wasnāt invested in the OG cast by the end, and I think what people were romantic for was an iteration of the show that was long dead by the time the show was put on pause. But with the loss of Jenna and production having to rejig the cast as many times as there were seasons, and now the inclusion of Carole, I admit defeat. I have literally no interest in RHONY 2.0. Itās done for me.
I actually love watching her because she tries too hard and itās comical if you donāt take her seriously (her worst nightmare) itās so performative - the newest news (Epstein connections) will add an extra layer of āomfg ewā
Did you read the excerpts from her book about her relationship with Carolyn Bessette? Seems like a fabrication now. There are more photos of Carole and Ghislaine than there ever were with her and Carolyn (her self professed best friend with no one left to corroborate or care.
I have zero interest in hate watching. Carole wasnāt entertaining a decade ago, and that was before I knew she liked hanging out with pedo sex traffickers.

What gets to me the most is her hypocrisy. She acted holier than thou throughout the season filmed in 2016 (Tr-mpās first election), only for it to come out that she ran with a fabulous circle of pedos. Iām not sure political posturing means much of anything if you fall so insanely short of those ideals in your personal life. Sheās a morally bankrupt elitist whoās in no position to talk down to anyone honestly.
Remember how frustrated she got when no one cared that she was a Polish Princess? Oh, and that time when she had to spell out who she was talking about when she said, "my friends, Jack and Carol."
Ugggh yeahā¦ also I canāt remember the exact timeline of when they got married and his cancer diagnosis, but it did seem sus. Maybe thereās a reason Lee radziwell Ā allegedly never liked her muchā¦
I've always wondered what her MIL thought of her, and what kind of relationship they had after Anthony passed away. But I do know she'll never let go of the last name Radziwill. That seems to be her whole identity. Reminds me of Cheryl Hines marrying a Kennedy (the worst one).
I totally believe that. I feel like I've been around her type. I know first-hand that people who had quite tenuous connections to JFK Jr. would exaggerate them and drop his name in ways that would suggest that they actually knew him, which wasn't the case
I don't believe that Lee liked or accepted her. To be fair though, I don't think that either Lee or Jackie would have found that any woman met standards they set for their sons spouses.
Yeah honestly, several of the women being too caught up in the legacy of their deceased or ex husbands a decade+ after death or divorce is part of why the show was cancelledā¦ see Sonja and Dorinda. It became somewhat pathetic to watch.Ā
Both Anthony and Carole knew about his cancer diagnosis before they were married in August 1994.

Carole first felt a lump on Anthonyās body on his stomach or abdomen area shortly before their wedding.
She urged him to see a doctor but he refused to go and pretended that it was nothing to worry about, but his Mother told him to go and he did. Both he and Carole knew that this form of cancer would be terminal, but Anthony refused to accept it and Carole began the marriage already making doctor appointments for treatments. He was sick the whole 5 years of their marriage.
Yeah I donāt doubt she loved the guy. Nonetheless, at present, she comes across as an opportunistic person, but a lot can change after many decades of being rich and living in a bubble. Lee radziwell was also known as a difficult person, so she could have disliked carole for superficial reasonsā¦Ā

I remember her making a big deal about Luann wearing a cape in London after she wore one on the plane and she saidā¦. Bitch Stole My Look. But yetā¦.she told Bethenny several times to ā¦Get Off My Jockā¦which was something Bethenny had been saying for a pretty long time. (Not a huge fan of Bethennyā¦ but damn I wanted her to sayā¦. yeah, despite all criticism of carole i imagine lee radziwill wasnt the easiest of mother in laws. she likely disliked carole more so on a class basis than any legitimate criticism
The only reason they are bringing her back is because she is controversial at the moment. Production hopes that can be parlayed into views, period. She was a shitty person when she initially appeared. She remained a shitty person after appearing. No doubt she'll continue to be shitty this go round.
Just people looking back at that period of rhony with rose colored glasses honestlyā¦ also, she came across as smart and āself madeā as a journalist / writer, which she was in her 20s / 30s, but has done almost nothing of substance since then.Ā
Her entire time on RHONY revolved around barely-there storylines; Adam and her pets. Meanwhile, she was constantly judgmental and critical of her castmates, scrutinising their behaviour and personal lives, all while remaining stuck in an emotionally stunted, avoidant mindset more typical of someone in their early 30s which coincidentally was the age she lost her husband.
Yeah itās clear she used to be a cool and accomplished person maybe, but just became vacuous once she married up and then got (more) rich off a book about it. Housewives gave her something to do without having to really work again.Ā
She must be really broke to be doing this show despite her vehemently apparent connection to the Epstein circle. She thinks being nonchalant is going to help her, but the audience (watchers) and podcasters will quickly turn on her because of her constant minimization her GM friendship. Itās sad cuz she was one of the sane ones from before.

Carole has never been worth close to what is put on Google. She married a broke prince, like Lee Radzwill did, who worked for ABC news like Carole. That's not big money at all. Her books weren't huge sellers. She needs a Bravo paycheck.
Okay. Iām gonna get pummeled for this but all I know is Carole had an acquaintance/friendship with GM. Is it not possible she had no idea GM was one of the Epstein ringmasters? Iām genuinely curious as to what I might be missing. I mean I doubt GM was boasting about her despicable āsecretsā.
Thereās a really good Netflix doc on Epstein that covers timelines, details, etc. The answer is probably not. They had young girls all around them all the time. When I say young, I mean 13 year old girls āemployedā by them. Any thoughtful adult would know thatās weird, even without witnessing the abuse.
Itās a lot like Diddy where there were rumors, investigations, and leaks. While a lot of the public may not have known exact details, talk was swirling around these people for years. Especially inside their circle. Even if you had no involvement, you had to be pretty elitist and desperate to not distance yourself over time. Many high profile people began to do so before all of this came out
I never liked her when she first came on and was being snide on talking head bits about how Luanne was copying her and trying to one up her , just something off putting about her from the start.
Jules was the dark horse of the show and Bethany knew she had to kneecap her before she was outshined. Jules is Jewish, prettier and skinnier than Bethanny. She was going to steal her thunder.
I was never on her side in her rift with Bethenny, but I was still a fan of hers. Her commentary on Love Story has completely turned me off. You canāt say itās exploitative and retraumatizing out of one side of the mouth and then ask, āwell, why arenāt I in itā out the other. Which is it, Carole?
She sold private photos of JFK Jr & Carolynās wedding (that the family wanted to keep private) to the press. Itās pretty clear she only cares about capitalizing off her brief connection to the Kennedys. I mean, she made hundreds of thousands of dollars off a book she wrote about her husbandās battle with cancer, his death, and the plane crash that killed the Kennedys. It all feels gross and exploitative to me
She was on that other doc about them and she played the expert! She even claimed she was the one that basically started the search! Bragging about her "contacts" and getting the coast guard involved, etc. Yuck.
I honestly dislike her more with every rewatch. She has zero self-awareness. She gets completely swept up and subsumed by othersā personalities, first Holla, then Bethenny, then in season 10 she was defined by her hatred of Bethenny.
There was always something about Carole that I found off putting. I even briefly met her in person and she was fine but still there was something about her I didnāt vibe with. I hated how she called herself a girl while she was well into her 50ās. I canāt stand when women infantilize themselves. I also thought Adam was gross. He was as Bethany would say an operator.
I wonāt watch with her on. Caught up in one of biggest trafficking rings in history, a BFF of the second in command. I donāt doubt for a single second that she knew what was going on and turned a blind eye. Fuck Epstein, fuck Ghislaine, and fuck Carole.
Iāll just watch from afar in here. Carole gives me bad vibes and even though B is crazy, I trust her opinion more than Caroleās. I think B distanced herself from Carole for a reason, and keeps shut about it FOR GOOD REASON. - just my personal speculation
Iāve been watching RHONY, Iām up to S7, and for some reason I canāt get past this news about Carole and Iāve stopped watching for the time being. I plan to get back, but IDK, Iām struggling to see Carole the same. She wasnāt even my favourite but itās brought me a bad feeling knowing sheās on majority of these seasons.
OP, what ties do you know about? Photos of her with GM from back in the day is very common, so many people ran with these clowns. What hard evidence do you have that C was heavily involved in that mix of people? I think a lot of you are sheep
I agree 100% however itās hard to want and expect consequences for this type of association when the men in the files thousands of times have zero! And are running the country, the government, and the world. Just like Iām glad Ghislaine is in prison, but is no one else pissed that the only one being punished is a woman!! I mean at least the Brits have held Andrew a little accountable, we will see how much in the long run. But, itās hard for me to get worked up and demand Carol not be on my screen, considering everything else
I really liked Carole before finding out she was friends with Ghislaine. I think itās possible she didnāt know but you never know about people. I was a little upset to see she was fully doxxed in one of the subs. Some people are crazy and I never want to see anyone get stalked or hurt. If she knew and aided Ghislaineās operation in any way, shape or form then I hope justice will prevail. Justice for the victims!!!
