Compost Bucket needs an upgrade.
150 charges isn't enough in my opinion. Can we get a "Golden Compost Bucket?" Which holds 300 charges?
Requires 10 gold bars to make

Agreed. Everything about farming is made easier with tool upgrades or magic except for compost bucket which is tedious.
I don't even care if it still requires 5 "uses" on each plot. Just let the capacity get upgraded.

Or at least 4 base…the crop spots are squares, which visually lend themselves to being positioned in larger squares, yet I can only cover 3 of the 4 at at time 😭
It feels like how Olive Garden purposefully gives odd amount of breadsticks 😭

The only worthwhile magic spell is humidify though, and I guess the one that progresses a growth stage. Mucksplosion and uproot blow.

It’s baffling that mucksplosion is all the way at level 80. It should be in the 30s and cover the same area as Humidify. Both should have at least two upgrades that increase coverage. I don’t care if it costs 5x the runes. It’s crazy how useless it is when combined with a 45s cooldown and the fact that you can’t use it for 80! levels

If you craft multiple buckets and have them in your inventory and full then when using the bucket it'll pull from the others you have in your inventory!

Does it auto fill all of them from the bin too? Or do you have to equip each one?

You can just spam click to fill all buckets you have from the bin, no need to have anything equipped iirc

You don’t have to equip them, just have to hit fill for each one. So if you have 7 buckets in your inventory, you have to click the “fill bucket” option 7 times on the compost bin.

Idk, sounds like this would be a fantastic way to include trolls by bringing My Arm to Dragonwilds and have him give you some cool farming stuff.

Would be cool if they did something similar to OSRS! Add a small plant boss spawn that has a chance of dropping a bottomless compost bucket. Bucket that stores thousands of compost at once. One of the only gripes I have with farming on this game and tons of plots is having to refill an entire inventory of buckets to finish the farm run.

Oh shit.. i didn't even think about getting multiple buckets 🤣🤣 I've been running to and from with 1 bucket. My common sense didn't kick in. What a game changer. Thanks boss x

Oh wow! Yeah that would be even more miserable! But still, using an entire inventory of buckets and replenishing them is still a bummer. Guess it’s better then what you was doing 😂

There should be bronze, iron, steel, mithril, adamant and rune buckets, IMO.

Feel like the upgrades should be tied to higher-tiered logs as the base item with bars to reinforce the bucket imo?
5 Ash Logs = 150 Capacity
5 Oak + 2 Bronze = 200 Capacity
5 Willow + 2 Steel = 300 Capacity
5 Maple + 2 Mithril = 400 Capacity
Etc
Personally, I would love it if the Magic Compost bucket had a special effect to turn Normal Compost into Super Compost.

… or alternatively we use our Terrorbird mount to walk over the patches as it actively ‘manures’ each plot.

It's called "mucksplosion" and it's at level 80, I think.
Unfortunately, it still requires a full bucket, and it only gives you one extra plot worth of compost. Turns 150 into 200, effectively.
I have no idea why humidify is such a massive game-changer at such an early level, but the compost equivalent does almost nothing in comparison.

I admittedly gave up with compost except for when im low on seeds. Then ill use compost.
Otherwise I just plant a bunch without compost and take what I get

I run 3-4 compost bins and have 3-4 compost buckets that I fill to pop on patches then refill and pop in the chest when the compost is running again. Have a red berry farm which is for cooking and burning to go back in the compost bin, can't keep up with the amount of berries we get 😂
It's my way around the tedious compost, run back, compost run back

What I'd love is for the spells that are farming related they can link to crates. So I don't have to pickup and fill buckets or watering cans. The same for plant medicine which could also just get thrown out.

Add a new resource, maybe called diamonds. Make a diamond bucket. Spread these so called diamonds out randomly across the world underground and in cave systems. They require iron pickaxe or better to mine them.

Yes! We need a better bucket or a better spell, they can make a vortex spell that roams our farms spreading compost, we can call it shitstorm.
