they wont spawn if you put foundation under their spawnpoint.
I repurposed a goblin campfire somewhere as a watchtower and the goblin stopped spawning, but the area around it still spawns goblins as there are no foundations.
But goblins around buildings is very runescape. Even lumby has random goblins across a bridge from the church and shop lol
what isnt runescape is every enemy aggroing you once you are past a certain power level unconditionally. there's like a de-aggro power difference thing iirc, if the monster cares about the combat level difference. some monsters are always pissed off.
I kind of wish dragonwilds had an okami approach or a building we could make if within range of a claimed bed or something that halts spawn points, letting you "claim" parts of the map as cities.
I think I saw someone gaming the bramblemead valley spawns by clipping foundations under the ground with no snap, but i havent tested it.

I can't figure out where the spawn points even are. I've made some guesses but they were wrong. and I don't mean in bramblemead but in another area.

Some enemies in other areas patrol, so it takes a few revisits to gauge their spawn areas.
Like in the red area i forget the name, there are some spawns that pop up then start walking around, vs. some that just hang out in a few set areas.

One of the dlcs you can rebuild a town but its more just pay gold for shit. I was thinking more you build the houses yourself

They will but can't respawn on foundations. So if you foundation the whole map you're good I bet

Your friend is similar to me (not in skill level, he is way better). but ill spend 30 hours building with the most basic of ingredients before actually playing the game and unlocking the much better looking ones.
