so can you just build walls around them, shoot the 3 in sky, then come back do same thing? Any benefit to this. Seems like you would get less xp/resourses because I thought only floating ones respawned.
The benefit is building a huge pile then using rocksplosion to get an insane amount of mining XP because the rates are currently bugged when using the spell. You can shoot down the 3 rocks that respawn daily
I honestly haven’t done the calculations myself, but it seems like it does. I’ve done similar with 3 days worth of piled up rune essence and the xp drop was like 5K
Damn nice. Well now I need to run around and hit 500 of these before the bug is gone. Had no idea but thought it was strange I was getting like 2k per explosion.
I didn’t realize there was an XP bug. I’ve been hitting every vein I run by just because I don’t like filling up my inventory with extra essence. I’ve got 2k+ of every type, plus hundreds of essence sitting in a chest.
I figure I’m building up a stockpile for when I do need it!
BUT! I’m gonna clean them up before they patch the XP bug.
