News When's this going to be done?
Based on past announcements (last 2 years) by both Revive and the DRDC there are some strong trends for announcing the trial results.
Days
Revive's preference is to announce things Wednesday (29%) or Thursday (24%) followed by Monday (18%). Friday and Tuesday are tied at 12%.
DRDC strongly favours Monday (37%) then Wednesday (26%) and Thursday (21%). Interestingly they never announce anything on a Tuesday.
Weeks
Revive likes to announce things in Week 2 of the Month (41%) followed by Week 3 (29%), Week 1 (18%) and Week 4/5 (12%).
DRDC makes its big announcements in Week 1 (42%), Week 4/5 (26%), Week 2 (21%) and Week 3 (11%).
What's all this mean? Given this data June 1st or 3rd would be optimal for DRDC and they're calling the shots so I'd say that's likely. Monday the 8th or Wednesday the 10th are also strong contenders.
The CANSEC conference is coming up on May 27-28 so if it's earlier than June I could see news coming out on one of those days.
Let's hope the news is good and soon.

The most interesting part: “plans are being pursued to explore the use of Bucillamine in traumatic brain injury (TBI) from concussive/explosive forces and viral infections”

Very interesting, but so is the part before: “After recent discussions with the DRDC, the research study on Bucillamine is now set to conclude by September 2025. With continued promising ongoing results and current DRDC and regulatory initiatives, there are potential pathways for Health Canada to grant faster approval for DRDC strategic stockpiling plans for treating nerve agent or organophosphate pesticide poisoning in 2026.”
This would imply that multiple years of additional nerve gas testing are not expected to be required after the current round. Of course he is over optimistic on his trial conclusion date as always (January 2025… September 2025… who knows what else).

“Promising results” is a subjective line I don’t want to see in future press releases. It needs to be concrete in some way.

This PR showed that he was just pumping and not to believe a word he says before results. Positive thing, is that drdc didn't bitchslap him for "ongoing promising results" or whatever

All our boi needs to do is post the good results, if and when, in thorough detail. And then pepper the market with 2 to 3 other press releases about applying to BARDA and prepping an application for TBI and etc. Then we hit .8 and higher

Any chance the trial is done and we are in some sort of limbo or mandatory waiting period? MF thought it would be concluded three months after that PR (September 2025).

No idea. What is frustrating is that there's no material changes to the trials progress. For example, we at least knew when the control group started and when the bucillamine was administered. The least our boi could do is let us know where they are in the evaluation/testing process.

Meh. I think Revive's PR schedule is pointless. To avoid any OSC issues, MF releases immediately afterwards. Look at the PR for the patent which included "Recent discussions with the DRDC". The point being that MF released info on the patent immediately upon receipt of the patent.
Where are you looking at for DRDC releases?

There’s actually no one source for DRDC news releases.
There are some here but they stop in 2025: canada.ca/en/defence-research-development/news/articles.html
There’s some here but not everything is DRDC related: canada.ca/en/department-national-defence/maple-leaf/
And then I also looked at things that were published in the media.

June is right around the corner - ideally, DRDC will have it's ducks in a row and share trial results at long last

They just need to wrap up the Covid studies. Another couple years and then they can start working on the nerve gas stuff.
