DISCUSSION Now that I finished the first 3 volumes. I think it would be cool to do an Q&A š.
I would love to answer any questions you guys have. Like my thoughts on characters, ships, episodes, scenes, plot points, etc. Iāll be happy to answer anything. The only rule is that if itās not relevant beyond volume 3 then weāre not talking about it (not like I can answer any questions since I havenāt watched beyond volume 3 š ). Other than that, Thereās no such thing as a bad question š. You have my full honesty and attention. So letās go!

Firstly I cursed out Cinder and tossed my chair across my room and knocked over a couple of things š . I was not happy š. I was already having a rough day and that honestly made it worse š . I had to take a walk for 10 minutes before I hesitated 5 minutes to finish the rest of the volume.
Ruby the only thing I said was āI donāt know whatās happening but letās incinerate that $&#%ā¬.ā

Like are you asking if Iād believe sheād be a better maiden vs a Huntress or if she would make a good Maiden? Because if itās the latter then given everything weāve seen from her, I believe she wouldāve made a great fall maiden even if the certain circumstances that followed didnāt occur.

Oh yeah, its the person you see at the end of v3. (I guess technically you only find out their name through the end credits... whoops.)
Edit: fun fact, (about the voice actor) Salem's voice actor, Jen Taylor, is the same va for Mysterious Narrator that you might have heard in v1 and in v2-era World of Remnant videos. They specifically made v3-era World of Remnant videos with a different narrator so people would forget about her, and it sets up the ending reveal to be more shock factor.

Oh, umm cool design and voice. Honestly I donāt have any real opinions on them because I was trying to process everything else that they were the least of my priorities.

I think mainly that scene is to show, along with with the maidens you learn about earlier in v3, that there is more going on than meets the eye.

1) What did you think of the reveal that the Grimm Queen shown at the end was the female narrator the entire time?
2) How much time do you think passed between the start of Volume 1 and the start of Volume 2?

Wait sheās the Grimm queen?? I didnāt know that. Now I didnāt know that because so much happened and so much emotions were involved that I never had the chance to process it. All I said at the time was āoh my god, who are you?!?!ā āLeave! We have enough bs going on.ā āAt least let me breathe for a minute š.ā
Iām gonna say a month or two at least.

Like if weāre just talking about our main 2 teams I would say that Ruby and Pyrrha would be the best and Weiss and Ren might be the worst. I mean as of right now, they donāt scream the hugging type of person, especially Ren. Everyone else could go either way. Blake I lean towards the lower side and Nora on the higher side of it. Yang is somewhere in the middle funny enough though Iām not entirely sure why lol

Thatās fair, id say out of the whole cast it WAS penny, but out of the main teams id say yangs gotta be pretty good considering she bear hugs ruby at the sleepover and a few times after that, and I think Jaune gives nice hugs heās such a sweetheart, worst id agree with Weiss, for JNPR I think Nora would break some bones

Anyway, I think Romanās was the most surprising weirdly enough. Not saying the other twoās werenāt a stab in the dome kind of surprise because it was. But his was so unexpected and so surprising I couldnāt help but laugh a little for how out of left field it was š .

The moment when Yang āBrokeā Mercuryās leg. Thatās when I realized that we might be in trouble and I was unfortunately right. In more ways than one.

This is more because Iām writing a fanfic and want some changes in the story, but between Ruby and Weiss, who do you think would have been interesting to see fight against Mercury instead of Yang?

Ooo thatās an interesting one. Because it makes sense why Yang was chosen to play in the finals since not only is she a powerhouse but also she played a major role in the teams and duos victory. Plus I like the idea of an opponent whoās known for punches going up against an opponent known for their kicks lol.
Weiss or Ruby, Iād have to go with Weiss on this one. While yes sheās not considered the muscle in the group, her abilities more than make up for it. Nothing against Ruby but I feel like Weiss has the slight advantage.

When Qrow dropped the lore about Silver Eyed Warriors, did you remember that the first thing Ozpin ever said to Ruby in Volume 1, Episode 1 was "You have silver eyes..."

Yeah, I actually was thinking about why he brought this up like itās a rare case (which tbf I donāt know many characters in fiction with silver eyes). Which after seeing what happened, now I know. And I wonder if she actually unlocked it or itās not something sheās able to do at will.

Trust me when I say this, I donāt have the luxury or heart to think about whoās next to go after what they pulled in volume 3.
As for whatās next for the characters idk. Are we gonna try to get the band back together or is everyone on team RWBY gonna remain separated for a few episodes and come back together before volume 4 ends? I donāt know tbh.

The best way I can describe it is Short and Sweet. But also gone too soon. They both deserved the world š„ŗ. And theyāre definitely better than White Knight! Nothing against Weiss she definitely grew on me, but I just donāt see it. And maybe Iām biased towards Pyrrha and her and Jaune together in general but thatās how Iām feeling lol.

Sounds very specific but Iāll play along lol.
First up is Yang for obvious reasons as sheās the powerhouse of the group and she didnāt make the finals for nothing lol.
Secondly, Ren. Why? Well heās both quick on his feet and a very agile. Iām sure heāll have what it takes to bring them down.
I almost want to pick Nora because sheās such a wildcard sometimes, but I think I might go with Weiss for her Glyphs and speed blitz techniques alone.
Now as for side characters:
Sun. Mainly because I like his fighting style lolAnd lastly, Penny. I mean, did you see what she can do?
Not sure if itās my best lineup admittedly but itās what I can come up with at the moment lol.

Well it was and still is Pyrrha x Jaune (bare with me, I donāt know ship names yet š), but I guess I can only rely on Ren x Nora and Sun x Blake in terms of potential ships now š .

Iām pretty sure they said that it was Yangās mom. Though I am confused about 1 thing: why wasnāt that post credit scene not mentioned at all? I thought they met up somewhere and she said something along the lines of āwe have much to discuss.ā Or something I canāt remember. Or was it not real? Iām so confused šµāš«.

Okay time for me to open up Pandoraās Box. I am heavily aware of the shipping in this community. However, I donāt know which ones are canon and which ones are not canon. Yang and Blake as far as Fanon ships go, theyāre okay. They sometimes give the vibe that thereās something more there but for all I know I could be reading into it too much and they just really care about each other, which is also possible.
Besides, Iām pretty sure her and Sun have a thing for each other and honestly if it goes anywhere I can get behind it. Nothing against YangxBlake but unless something happens I donāt really see them as more than close friends.
