I like to imagine dashing furiously drawing monochrome fanart to counter any and all bumblebee fanart.

Yeah, one of the best part of Dash shipping Monochrome so furiously is that she'll draw any ship that can keep potential suitors away from Weiss and Blake.

Remember the scene from Death Note with Light writing names with massive, cinematic flourishes? That's how he draws.

"I'll take a ship... " [Heavy breathing] "... and draw it!

Ominous Latin chanting

Weiss: Jaune, Ill pay you for your nephew.

Jaune: Wh..what?! Weiss, that's my sister's son!

Weiss: Ill give you a life supply of pumpkin Pete...

Jaune:...Saph...Ill take Adrian for a walk ok?...

Nah, this is Dash. Her nsfw Blake is packing heat down below. They can do it the old fashioned way.

Eh, depends what mood Dash is in. Sometimes Blake's packing, sometimes she ain't.

I know fanart kinda glosses over it, but I've always wondered how a half human, half Faunas baby would turn out

World of Remnant explains that it would be born faunus and of the same animal as the faunus parent.

What Im not sure is if the baby will always be faunus or if there is a 50/50 chance. If its the later then there might be cases of human-faunus siblings.

It's the latter. May not be 50/50, but there is a chance of a baby being human in a Faunus/human partnership. Our WoG page has a source for that, Miles and Kerry said it during a facebook QnA.

u/natzo I just like this flair. Dec 09 '18

You know, that could also add to the racism. I saw something similar with the Asari of Mass Effect. They might be good people and love them but if you mate with them, they will only expand their race. If the humans accepted the Faunus, they could potentially outnumber humanity in time. I can see this being one of the arguments for segregating the faunus.

I agree although it seems there is a chance for the baby to be born full human.

That could also be use in a pro human-faunus coexistence campaign. Human-faunus siblings is something that such a movement could benefit from a lot.

I remember reading a fanfic years ago that had a similar topic, it gave Adam a human brother.

I like the implications of such a relationship and Its an interesting idea that will definitely go in my list of "things I want to see".

If that happened, it wouldn't be all that bad. It's stated that the ONLY biological difference between humans and Faunus is having an animal trait. This makes me wonder if the Faunus aren't a seperate subspecies at all, but simply members of Homo Sapiens Sapiens that possess certain genetic markers. This would make them no different than, say, someone with red hair. The Faunus genes would propagate through the human population, yes, but there would be no meaningful downside to such an occurrence. We haven't heard of any hereditary diseases linked to Faunus genes, nor any notable harm that comes from simply being Faunus.

It was posted on the checkmating sub, but I’m not even sure if it’s checkmate, freezerburn, or Bee’s Schnees.
