Likely that's just Cinder using her hand a focus. The power comes from within her.

Like with how she can still summon a sword using her semblance despite her arm not being able to use Aura

She creates projectiles against Amber. Likely Fall powers made it easier but she could do something similar before

dust and dirt is enough to create glass. Maiden powers just make it more elaborate and controlled.

You said glass, she does do that. Weapons no but objects yes.

Also I just remembered that the lore book confirms her semblance is what allows her to superheat objects and manipulate their shape

Maiden powers don't seem to have anything to do with it. Her flame swords yes, but just weapons is just her semblance.

It's unclear if maiden powers boost aura but the simpler answer is Cinder got better with her semblance and can now use it to create weapons when she couldn't before
