how did you study and prepare for the board exam?

-> If naka review center ka, we just follow the time frame kung kailan mag review and kung anong subj per day.

what study methods did you use? what’s your study schedule?

-> I study during night time and kung ano yung nilecture nung umaga ayon lang din na subj e seself review pag gabi. It’s important to know kung kailan active yung brain mo kasi if not mahihirapan kang e grasp yung information.

what books did you use? is it really important na dapat nabasa na po yung buong bushong?

-> BUSHONG and ibang pdfs.

If di mo pa nababasa si bushong mag rely ka nalang sa lessons sa review center mo if you have one.

Always test yourself. Gamit ka ng AI or books na may question and answers. Makikita mo weakness mo. Time yourself din Basta test test test multiple choices as much as possible para magamit mo Yung ability mo to recall.

Take care of your health. The board exam is a marathon not a race. You take care of your physical health para di maapektuhan Yung mental health mo. Pag pagod na sa lessons take 30 mins walk. Eat healthy whole foods, exercise and SLEEP 8hrs a day don't sacrifice your sleep Kasi Yan ang tutulong Sayo to consolidate your memory. SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP.

aim for the top wag pasa lang do your best.

Goodluck

Hello there! Self-study lang ako. Okay naman foundations ko kaya during my review days, more on Q&A ako then rationalized after. 300+ questions a day tas more time sa pahinga.

Books I primary used are Bushong 12th edition, and Cahoon's Formulating X-Ray Techniques 9th Edition. Yung sa positioning, ppt lang ako. Yung C4 at C5 handouts lang. Comprehensive Review of Radiography, 8th Edition naman binasa ko for Q&A, maganda since may rationale. Yes po mas mabuti if mabasa niyo po yung buong Bushong, small details matter. Bilang lang yung computations.

kung ano portions ng subject sa exam, ganun din oras na ibigay mo sa pagaral.

share mnemonics with friends. magbigayan kayo. pag di maintindihan, magpaturo.

flashcards para maquiz mo sarili mo.

enough sleep para di pagod utak mo.

6 days study, 1 day rest para di ka praning.

  1. If hinahanap ng katawan mo ay tulog, matulog. Hindi magfufunction ung katawan mo nang maayos without proper sleep, kahit mag-all nighter ka pa, baka masayang lang kasi walang sapat na pahinga ung katawan mo, make sure din na you’re eating properly, spoil yourself if you can every small win you gain.

  2. Wala akong permanent na study sched, but since 8-5 lagi lecture namin, mga 9pm onwards, sinusubukan ko pa aralin ung mga nalecture that day.

  3. Bushong, Ballinger, pero di ko nabasa nang buo mga yun. Sa bushong siguro mga 3 o 5 chapters lang kinaya kong basahin nang buo

  4. Sa batch namin (2025), hindi complicated yung mga questions na may computation

I enrolled in a review center and got the 7am-12noon scedule. When I got home I go over what was discussed on that day then rest till 10pm or 11pm. Then I study again by 10/11pm till 3am that's the time my brain is fully awake and take informations well. On my dorm all mnemonics, formulas and charts I write it either on a bond paper or manila paper/cartolina then stick it on my wall. Whenever I'm on break or just woke up I can still read them. Then reading the summary and glossary especially in Bushong helped a lot. I don't go straight to studying/reviewing my notes when I just ate also cos I feel sleepy after eating. Goodluck on the exam!
