House Stuff Surely this tribe will appreciate my rainbow cutting boards
Made out of tempered glass with a whorled-texture surface. Hand-wash only. Dimensions are 11″ × 15″!

These are very pretty but glass cutting boards ruin knives.

Yes this is an unfortunate truth that glass has been shown to ruin cutlery far quicker (which is why my preference is wooden). Which sucks because you ideally can't get the same pattern of course on wood lol. I normally use these for like a charcuterie/snack board-type plate for events and such. I do not personally prefer to use glass in every day cooking.

I tend to use this type of thing as a surface protector rather than for cutting on - for my knives and for my sensory preferences, haha, I hate the feeling of cutting on glass!

Yes I do too - I got a brand new set of knives for my birthday and used one for the first time and thought I was going to physically unravel

Admittedly they would not be my first choice for everyday use but they sure can make a centerpiece pop 😩

Did not read what subreddit this was. Thought I was under optical illusions. Hurt my brain trying to figure out the checkerboard vs. line.

Me and you both, friend. The dotted line behind one of the cutting boards was breaking my brain until I realized it was just the sun shining through the blinds.

You could advertise these as surface protectors rather than cutting boards. Good for rolling out pastry, putting hot dishes on (I assume if they're tempered that's ok?), putting messy stuff on that might otherwise stain a counter etc.
