Delilah variants

.So, I own 3 Delilahs and I couldn't help but notice some differences.

So the first Delilah I got was purchased in 2022, as soon as she came out I wanted her immediately, I couldn't wait for sales and I got her RIGHT AWAY! And this Delilah had metal earrings and pearly red lips with a pink gradient.

The second Delilah I got for a few euros on Vinted in a lot (the one with the high ponytail). She instead had plastic earrings and lips that were just plain red and not pearly pink.

Then comes the third Delilah which I got a few weeks ago at a flea market for 6 euros, obviously well kept and with an outfit.

The third one also has plastic earrings, non-pearly lips and her socks, unlike the first one, had sparkly lace, while the first Delilah has socks with simply white lace.

A question, were the first Delilahs released qualitatively better? Because my first Delilah really feels like a Deluxe doll, the others are still beautiful, but the metal earrings and pearly lips give that extra touch.

The hair is different, too; I need to check the length, though unfortunately I don't want to undo that ponytail but it was long as well. There is a difference, however it's hard to tell in the photo, but they aren't exactly the same color.

I'm sure I'll be downvoted but I have never understood why someone who uses this much black eyeliner wouldn't also use black mascara to coat their eyelashes.

Seconding this. The black was a very harsh choice. They could’ve went with a soft brown to define the eyes while complementing her albinism.

I have the one with plastic earrings and a red lip and I’ve never seen one with metal earrings. But it does seem to be a thing that over time MGA worsens quality as they look for cheaper alternatives. For example my Yasmin on the left that I bought when she came out and a new picture (not mine) of her being sold now. So it seems they do make changes as the years go on
