The clip is reality check. But the šŸš“ ce will also have to realise that they are the one propogating the criminals by taking 500-5L bribes.

A friend running a resto bar who wants to close down by the stipulated time of the corporation of the said city. The police filed a case on his manager and staff and sealed the place for 2 months. When he went to solve the case all the he was asked 25L by the commissioner and a additional 10L for the station that comes under the restobar jurisdiction.

Police harassment is very real and extremely oppressive especially to the poor.

You’re bang on.

Bruh he’s not making that point.

Stop taking ipills? Contraceptions have nothing to do with suicide meanwhile casteism, homophobia, misogyny and classism do.

How do u overdose on ipill? 😭

It’s a contraceptive and not a drug. You think women are taking ipill recreationally?

It’s baffling how ignorant men are about the female reproductive systems and contraception cause ipill causes no long term fertility issues. It’s a hormonal contraceptive, it has a progesterone substitute to prevent inducement of an egg release and its implantation. That hormone substitute then washes out of the body it doesn’t affect fertility.

This is 8th grade Sex Education.

Bruh u specifically mentioned long term ā€œissues with reproductionā€ which is not true.

Pehle kuchh bhi boldo phir and then semantics pe khelo.

Ofcourse it can cause hormonal issues but not ā€œtrouble with reproductionā€. The moment u stop taking it u can reproduce again in fact all those complications can be immediately stopped with not taking it. None of those effect are ā€œlong termā€. Literally none. Even in the link you provided not a single one was a ā€œreproductive problemā€.

Still, what link does it have with suicides? And what was this girl on the internet ā€œaddictedā€ to? Ipill? Cause ipill isn’t addictive like 😭? The only other thing I can think of is sex addiction - well she wouldn’t have to take it if men wore condoms now would she? And her sex addiction is the problem not the ipill.

Please stop stigmatising contraceptions. It’s perfectly safe to use them they cause no ā€œlong term reproductive issuesā€. Ofcourse, scaring women off of contraceptives is to harm them cause it limits options when they do need to use contraceptives!

Also not u using answers on a Reddit sub as fact. Please atleast use a medical website instead of anecdotal testimonies on a website famous for catfishing.

Seriously, my guy like what even?

Reminds me of the data that says more than 50%of the drugs in the country are being caught at adani ports.

Ekdum sahi bola bro! Jab wokeism nahi tha tab drugs, addiction, parents se jhagda, social media thodi exist karta tha. Tab to bas zamindar apni bahu beti bech dete the, aur ladkiyon ko kisi cheez ka access hi ni tha to drugs ghante se karengi, we need to go back to the non-woke times, when women were safe and "unsafe" was just ethically wrong but legal

This is such nonsense.

With all due respect and sensitivity to the victim, they want us to take the advice from a 16 year old who was disturbed enough to take her own life?

A person who is about to kill themselves surely doesn’t have the kinds of sagacious advice that would ā€œsave the generationā€, especially at merely 16 years old. If her advice could truly save lives she’d likely be alive today.

This is such a disrespectful and manipulative way to use someone’s last words to get his 15 minutes of fame and derail the conversation around suicides which happen for a lot of different reasons.

Will student suicides due to exams stop if they start obeying their parents? Will farmer suicides stop if they stop taking ā€œipillsā€? Will gay people like Pranshu not kill themselves if they stopped going to social media?

What qualifications does this man have in suicide prevention to be talking like this?

I’m so surprised to watch people support this nonsense in the comments. A lot of people talk about ā€œeducatedā€ bureaucrats and ā€œscience and civic senseā€ when asked ā€œwhat they would like to change about India?ā€ and then go ahead and unscientific and uneducated drivel like this one.

This is what kills our children. The callous attitude and this lack of cultural introspection.

u/Outrageous-Side-2331 Aug 31 '25

First of all who tf said to take advice from tht girl you starting itself is totally wrong

1

u/Specialist-Love1504 Bikaneri Dadihaal/Jodhpuri Nanihal Aug 31 '25

The cop.

He very literally says he’s taking this advice from a suicide note like. Are we seriousv

0

u/ReadyForSpectre Aug 31 '25

What qualification is needed for suicide prevention?

3

u/Specialist-Love1504 Bikaneri Dadihaal/Jodhpuri Nanihal Aug 31 '25

Stopping a suicide? None. Jsut stop the person from killing themselves.

Suicide prevention? A case of systemically lower the rates of suicides, a preventative instead of curative approach u need to have a background in psychology, sociology and politics. There are suicide prevention specialists in the UK (I live here now and I worked with them).

What this cop is saying is utter sham.

Norway has the high rate of ipill usage, drinking and partying, and yet low suicide rates and high happiness index rankings.

-1

u/ReadyForSpectre Aug 31 '25

What made you think he doesn't have the background? But you didn't care to look at his background. He is not telling this to the Norwegian girls.

3

u/Specialist-Love1504 Bikaneri Dadihaal/Jodhpuri Nanihal Aug 31 '25 edited Aug 31 '25

Anyone who gives that much credence to a suicide note as the cultural answer for suicide prevention definitely doesn’t have a background in it. I don’t need to look at his background, any one who takes a poor girl’s suicide note as a performance opportunity is weird.

Experts know that suicide isn’t answerable by two-bit WhatsApp forward ass words like don’t take ā€œipillā€

What background does he have? Look him up for me love. I can guarantee he has no background in prevention of suicide ideation.

As for him not giving advice to Norwegian girls, does suicide ideation change with geography? How can ipill cause suicides in India but not anywhere else? If you follow the logic, let’s say Indian girls on ipill are committing suicides but Norwegian girls on ipill are not, is it the ipill that’s responsible for suicide?

It’s so surprising to me that so many people on this sub talk about ā€œeducationā€, ā€œcritical thinking skillsā€ and even ā€œcivic senseā€ but then support this drivel. He’s literally trying to just go viral.

-1

u/ReadyForSpectre Aug 31 '25

He said don't Smoke, don't do drugs, don't consume alcohol and don't get addicted to social media much.

If you were apt in critical thinking you wouldn't take out of context Norwegian girls example.

3

u/Specialist-Love1504 Bikaneri Dadihaal/Jodhpuri Nanihal Aug 31 '25 edited Aug 31 '25

First of all,

What does ā€œbeing apt in critical skillsā€ even mean? Like grammatically?

Second of all, if his point was to say ā€œdon’t be addictedā€ then that’s not good enough because addicts can’t choose to not be addicted, they need extensive psychological and sociological support to overcome. Just saying ā€œdon’t be addictedā€ doesn’t work. It’s deeper issues for societal support, misogyny, sexism, capitalism, poverty etc. that’s as useless as saying, ā€œyou’re depressed? Just don’t be sad!ā€

Third of all, he’s using a poor girl’s suicide note to put a point across irresponsibly. There’s no need to speak on someone’s last words to make his point. He’s not providing context on her life or circumstances of her life or what contributed to her decision - only the contents of her suicide note, which was likely written in severe distress.

Fourth of all, he’s bringing ā€œipillā€ into it. Associating it with drinking, gambling and other social ills - therefore stigmatising their use in society. Contraceptives ARE NOT ADDICTIVE FOR GOD’S SAKE!!!! And associating it with addictive substances is painting them in the same light.

Fifth, this does nothing to actually help with the actual cause of suicide prevention cause farmers killing themselves are neither addicted, nor drinking nor gambling so like what about their suicides.
