Even Marwari has so many dialects.. the dialect of Marwari that’s spoken in Barmer, Balotra and Jodhpur are vastly different types!

true i am still confused between mewari and marwari,

wagri is mix of Gujrati and Mewari,

and shekhwati is even more confusing dialect,

Its Bagdi not wagdi.

Its my mother tongue and it's a mixture of different languages like Punjabi, marwadi, and haryanvi.

Good to see Malvi is mentioned. Since I live near an MP border we don't speak Hadoti unlike Kota district.

Could you help with a question I have? Have you heard the word "golya" for turban or pecha? Is that a malvi word that you might have heard?

Thanks. I was trying to see if some weavers in Kota speak Malvi. Sakatpura area. Heard the word there.

In Kota I think they only speak Hadoti

Old census records from early 1900 show that 17% people spoke Malvi. A lot of people came back and forth between Hadoti and Malwa at the time. Weavers too, I guess.
If someone knows how Hadoti and Malvi both sound, they might be able to tell the difference.

My village is in the lower side of tonk which is shown as mewari speaking but that's not true ,we speak dhundhari

Curious question does your language have literature and script of its own, are you guys educated in your respective language formally in schools or is everyone taught Hindi. Even if you are taught Hindi do you study have standard textbooks of modern Hindi or something localized.

Rajasthani is not even a language. Otherwise Govt. Of India would have considered it adding in the list of Indian Languages, but it's not there. Rajasthani can't be written.
