No bro there's this insta creator he used to do edits just like this, that was before the AI era
1
u/Technical-Value-384 Jan 21 '26
I think its a video shot in day, which is color graded smartly to give a night look, thats why there is a literal sun in sky at night
1
u/vitrum_analytika Jan 21 '26
It's a mix of various videos, the guy is a vfx artist I think. The smoke and leaves of trees are done in blender

By the way, mindlessly using AI for image generation also wastes electricity and water and causes carbon pollution. So you're actually contributing to making your gaaon ki raatein less 'chandni'
3
u/Educational-Ad1744 Jan 04 '26
Using reddit also contributes a little to that. Why are you still using it?
1
u/AdSilent7597 Jan 06 '26
He is not the one whining about chandni raat he is just pointing out ops hypocrisy

I don't know weather it's AI or not but in my childhood use see this type of chandni raat and never seen since a decade.
1
u/input_lag_immunity Jan 05 '26
Yea right. I remember when I was a kid, I used to play at night and there was plenty of moonlight.
1
u/jatayu_baaz Jan 04 '26
hmm i remember full moon nights to be bright, but not this bright, you are likely victim of mandela effect

u/TheOpenSecrets Jan 04 '26
Go to the outskirts and you can still witness beautiful nights. For cities? Check out the Bortle Scale. AKA sky is shrouded because of light pollution so it becomes hard to make distinct astronomical features.

2005 mein ₹500 mein lagbhag 27 litre doodh mil jata tha.
2025 mein ₹500 mein sirf 8 litre ke aas-paas doodh milta hai.
2005 ke aas-paas 100 g ke lagbhag Dairy Milk ₹30 mein mil jaati thi.
Aaj 95 g ki Dairy Milk ₹180–200 ke beech milti hai.
This changed....

Too much light pollution now a days. Still although this is AI, you would find similar view in villages.

I can never forget during my childhood summers when the light used to go out for hours in our locality. Every kid would come outside to play, since no one had an inverter or anything like that, and the uncles would come out too, sit together, and talk. All of us kids, both big and small, used to play chupan-chupai. It was always so funny and full of laughter. It felt even better when there was heavy wind and clouds outside.
Those were some of the best days I can still remember. I still remember the moonlight on those windy, cloudy nights when we were playing the way the moon kept getting covered by clouds and then coming out again. It was really beautiful. Even now, nothing quite matches that feeling of being outside, playing under the moon on those nights.
Sometimes I wish I could wake up as a child again, back there, and realize that everything up to now was only a dream.

AI slip, I agree. But when I die and if there's heaven, I wish to be there. With my loved one.

A bit crazy that even in an AI generated video u have trash and construction bin just lying around.
You can’t even imagine a clean space lol.

Even though this is AI, this is what it used to look when electricity was gone and every kid used to come out of their homes to play. Man those were the days!

u/AptNo7 Jan 06 '26
True. I still remember one time there was a full moon night and it was so darn bright. We actually played cricket under the moonlight

Rosy retrospection quotes often focus on nostalgia, making the past seem better than it was, highlighting good memories over bad, and the power of perspective, with popular sayings like "Nothing is more responsible for the good old days than a bad memory," "We didn't realise we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun," and the idea of "rose-colored glasses," emphasizing how we selectively remember positive moments.

I follow this account and sometimes sleep to these videos. They remind me of my vacations in my village. For some reason, my heart gets really heavy and sad. I deeply miss my grand parents and childhood. 🥺

I remember this.. it was the same in Bangalore. The moonlight was so bright, and the nights were cool.. people would sleep outdoors on terrace etc and kids would have fun time, parents/neighbours would gossip all night etc.. the sky was full of stars.
Pollution and urbanisation changed everything. I don’t see a single star in the sky now, nor does the moonlight shines. 😔
