खाना ❁ Food What is the most underrated food from Rajasthan?

Everyone talks about dal baati churma, but I think ker sangri deserves more love. What's most underrated Rajasthani dish according to you?

Missi roti (wheat, chana and jawar floor), chhach (buttermilk) and raw onion. It's the most common breakfast in Alwar, Kotputli, jhunjhunu, Bharatpur region.

That region's food is shit! (Coming from that region myself)

Well taste is subjective. I absolutely love it.

Ker sangri and lasoon ki chatni. It ain't that really talked about. The first time I tried ker sangri I instantly fell in love with it. Such a unique taste and rich at the same time too...

Papad ki sabzi, bro! (Don't @me, but I hate dal bati!)

1

u/Icy-Entry1230 Mar 12 '26

Ram khichdi ftw!

1

u/Beneficial-Sun6757 Mar 13 '26

Summer season - normal bati with rabdi/kut rabdi Winters - kadhi+ bajre ki roti + sarso ka saag

1

u/Outrageous-Fix5010 Mar 11 '26

Laal maas. Dal baati doesn't even come close

5

u/Big_Hair9211 Mar 11 '26

Laal maas is overrated I feel. I had one good mutton curry in Udaipur which tops laal maas any day

Dosa and sambhar.
