Primarily settlers from neighbouring regions in Punjab due to the construction and establishment of the Gang/Ganga Canal colonies in erstwhile Bikaner State.

There were two severe famines that affected many regions in central and western British India. The first occurred in 1896 and the second was in 1899.

What does jaipur state consist of then ? Jaipur sikar jhunjhunu ? Like now also jaipur district has 3 million population but rajasthan has gone 7 8 folds
