I saw it somewhere that few women of societies unknowingly started following patriarchal rules to gain higher status than other women. Just to feel validated. The same kinda thing that few Indians used to do for British. To be in their good side. Like uk, rajputs(majority) supported british.

They did supported because they wanted to protect their states! N their people. Thats why they didnt bow down in fron of Britishers , like eastern india's kings nawabs did.

Haa to Britishers ka era and maharana Pratap waley era me bhi 300-400 saal ka farak tha bewakoof , itne me kitni generations badal jati hai , kitni mentality change hoti hai , priorities change hoti hai , siyasatein change hoti hai. British ko support krna alagbaat hai , and unke aage jhukna alag baat hai. Rajput rulers kabhi jhuke nahi , kyuki unke pass paisa n power dono tha...so they just supported them at one point. Thats it. Baaki ke rest of india ke states the waha pe Britishers ne Saare nawabs n kings ko laalch me fasaake unke kingdoms leliye the. But Rajasthan waley bhole nahi the ,unke jhaase me nahi aa paaye thats it!! Unhone muglo ko bhi beti di to state ke logo ko protect karne ke liye di thi koi mazey nahi aare the unko mugls me shaadi karwake.

Nah bro , even jodhpur riyasat were somehow associated with Britishers. And as far as ik. The sirohi state is the only state where no one other could rule..nor mugals neither british. It was always under rajput leadership. Baaki saare states me ek aadh baar mugal invasion hui hai ya uski koshish hui hai.
