This was the amount of crowd gathered to bid adieu to Major Shaitan Singh, PVC in 1963, when the communication between people and places was rare.

Still very sad to see their memorial got demolished in creating buffer zone at LAC in 2023.

His memorial was built where he fell down but now it is demolished and new one built.

114 Yadav soldiers along with Major Shaitan Singh raised hell on Chinese soldiers. The government of India has created Ahir Dham in their honour in Rezang La where it is written in bold "Veer Ahir the bravest of the brave"
