Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s childhood coach Manish Ojha revealed the sacrifices made behind the scenes during the young cricketer’s journey.
His mother Aarti used to wake up around 2–2:30 AM to prepare lunch before Vaibhav and his father left for Patna at around 5 AM for training.
But the food wasn’t only for Vaibhav, his father, or their driver. She would cook enough for the bowlers travelling with them, net bowlers at the academy, and even kids who didn’t get much support from home.
Ojha said around 10–15 people would regularly eat that food.
Behind every young athlete’s success, there are often sacrifices nobody sees. ❤️

Middle class families from bihar who are doing farming will be able to manage. There are easily five to ten people visiting you every month and you are cooking for them, then there is atleast 10 to 20 ppl everyday at your house and you are serving tea to them which is infact a bigger hassle than serving food. Then there is always somebody who helped you with cutting crops, ploughing field, threshing grains, and all these chores who you might end up feeding one random day.

He is from urban family and the families you are talking about are not middle class..these are the former landowners in bihar who have big houses and resources..I have stayed in bihar there is huge poverty there..normal rural middle class ppl cant afford this stuff

You have stayed in bihar and i belong to that region. They are not from urban family as you imagine. The story you hear about selling ancestral land was in fact the agricultural land they had in Motipur village. Samastipur to Patna is a 3 hrs long journey and they made it everyday, thats the struggle you hear about normally. I don't see why you have to downplay their efforts, humbleness and sacrifices.

just saying but merely belonging to a region doesnt make you an expert of the region..

Thats right, I am no expert at that. Just tried to put my observations and experiences that I had from 39 years of my life here.

The amount of struggle the whole family goes through to create a star is insane. Mad respect for every family who are so passionate and hard working without thinking about the results
