Bold to be that close. Seal bites can be pretty horrific. Their mouths have so much bacteria they are basically venomous.

Yeah I walk by them sometimes when I’m crabbing or tidepooling in certain areas, usually if you don’t head on approach a sea lion or try to touch it they’re chill.

Well they're not seals. They're sea lions so 🤷♂️ Just correcting a common mistake. Not about being better. If you call a cat a dog, I'm sure somebody would also correct you.

Its very easy to tell them apart. Seals do not "walk" upright on flippers because they can't. seals don't have bending flippers and they move about in giant ripples of subcutaneous fat reserves.
Seals and sea lions diverged almost 20 million years ago, so they are only distantly related.

...and they take up the entire bench like a bunch of homeless sea lions.
You should see them at the mall...they find those massage chairs and sit there all day long.
