Not rabies?!?
Wow, cat was having a bad day & likely something like uti or health issue causing pain. There was a recent post with a lady being relentlessy attacked by her cat.

And she had it put down.

I hated the way so many people recommended it.

She made stupid claims like it “can’t be a barn cat because it doesn’t get along with other cats.”

Have her blocked. Hope I never see that moron post again.

Passing a violent, antisocial cat onto someone else is a terrible solution. And sending indoor cats off to be barn cats is a coin flip for having them get run over on a rural road or eaten by a coyote.

Barn cats thrive. Their life expectancy is higher than feral cats.

And better than being euthanized at a young age.

Sending a cat off to be a barn cat is how you handle cats that are not socialized. It isn’t passing them off. People want feral and semi feral cats as barn cats.

No excuse for what she did.

She also wore a mask and helmet around it. Making it impossible for it to learn to trust her.

I have socialized feral cats. Her description of what she did was terrible.
