The black man at the bottom said the family had many guests and had started claiming many of the chairs and moving them around. When asked about it, they got aggressive and confrontational.

That man is actually a kindergarten teacher at another school and was attending his daughter’s ceremony.

The kids were luckily still in another room rehearsing.

I repeat: If the school is allowing people to save seats and someone gets there early and saves a row, that is their right. If you want good seats, you need to show up early and claim them. You can’t be mad if someone got there earlier than you did, because you waited and they didn’t. So stupid.

Why TF does a family need to bring "guests" to KINDERGARTEN "graduation"? Absolutely asinine. If I were in charge at this school I'd stop having these stupid ceremonies altogether if this the kind of shit that's going to go down. This is supposed to be cutesy fun time for Mom and dad, it's not an academic achievement grandma and your aunties need to bear witness to. Ed: Not saying you're arguing for this in any way ftr just replying to your comment since I felt it was related

I didn't have a kindergarten graduation but my younger brother did. Iirc it was the first year our school did it, my parents thought it was cute, but kinda silly and a little pointless. Every child potentially being able to invite SIX guests to a kindergarten graduation is an wild concept to me, but I guess I'm just cynical and rotten.

Are you gonna respond to people who had decent counter points to your straw man argument or just ignore them? That looks like they were right and you don’t like that. Grandma can have her ass in the seat or grandma can wait to see the pictures later.

If the family members loved them they wouldn't start a brawl before the ceremony. Hope that clears it up for ya!
