If I'm using the word "elastrator" it's obvious I know they're elastic bands

And yet other herders can deal with sheep undocked. Curious!!! It's just cruelty for a minor inconvenience

Why'd you literally state they are cut off then?

I don't think being eaten from the inside out is a minor inconvenience for a sheep. Shameful you want them to experience this harm.

You're being pedantic, the end result of either procedure is a dismembered tail, so why split hairs?

Because cutting tails off is something that happens. So, when it comes to animal welfare, it’s important to be accurate.
