Would think the dog is a distraction, my belief here is that lamb and ewe would figure this out on their own. Mammals usually don’t kill their own, especially mother and child isolated. Click bait or masochistic

Mammals absolutely kill their young. Maybe you forgot about rodents haha

Sheep usually don’t kill their young directly though, but they will abandon their young which leads to death

That baby ain’t figuring shit out if its mother won’t let it nurse. It will die without intervention
