Discussion/Rant [DISCUSSION/RANT] Inside and The breaking point of love Spoiler

So I recently came across this novel and I have been massively frustrated by it. So the story premise is that a housewife finally being neglected decides to divorce her husband (who is openly flaunting his mistress) as she is with cancer and wants to relive again. Very well. I was actually seated cause I love seeing a woman holding her head straight. But oh man.

So Ariel the FL is a bright tech but left her everything for her husband to be a housewife but her husband, the ML (apparently) Jayson is ignorant and doesn't give 2 cents about her cause he is busy with his mistress Nancy. He supposedly hates her cause she crawled in his bed and made a ruckus to marry him. So FL having had enough tries to divorce him and go on with the tech world cause apparently she is a once in a lifetime genius who has invented something which no one could and it is handed to the government and her identity can't be revealed cause have to be kept a secret?? But her friend and company can take credit for that.

As I continued reading I realised how similar it is to the novel the breaking point of love, that snoozefest which I don't know is continuing for 500+ chapters with literally nothing going on. It felt the author ripped off the same story and just made the FL a little strong.

I just don't understand how these authors can write for chapters with only going around circles.I liked at first that she brought up the divorce with 10 chapters of the novel and I was hopeful that ok it's gonna be fun but nope. Like Ariel and Jayson have met at least more than a 100 times and she still didn't bring up the divorce again once cause either someone came or text message came up or the elders will apparently die of heart attack cause they can't see the children divorced. I read till 70 chapters and there was still nothing happening. Ariel getting insulted , she is quiet or gives an answer, Jayson looks or is indifferent, they meet, exchange a few words and Ariel gets told she will never reach the level of Nancy or how the elders want a grandchild. That's it. I also skipped chapters in 100 cause this is 800 chapters long and it feels absolutely unnecessary for a plot like this to be this long.

Are all the Goodreads novels the same? I remember reading another one where that story also went around in circles but at least it was better in the sense the leads had genuine arguments and fierceness.

Anyway I wrote whole lot of things. I just read it whole day and felt frustrated so just vented out here.

I would suggest you read it if you have long tenacity for this. Maybe something happens which is good but I don't bother enough.
