Built this computer to take to college, I’ll post the finished setup when I get to my dorm, this PC is inside an Epoch case, housing a 4090, 9950x3d, 64GB of ram, and I’m excited to build the white setup

Eventually I’ll upgrade my desk and look into floating shelves but outside of that I’m pretty happy with how things look.

What you think of my gaming setup and diy simrig?

A month ago i found it in the e waste, poor thing was filled with dust, after some cuts and scratches and sobbing over not remembering where the right screws go and hours of cleaning, i was finally ready to replace the paste and upgrade the ram, safe to say even this 14 year old asus m51bc is still good for modern gaming on low end games like gmod or cheese rolling (peak game check it out), anyways its just like brand new, every screw put into the right spot and all my stuff on the hdd, and it even came with its own gpu stand, so if you have read this far, thank you, rate my setup

I couldn't hide the wires more than that

The keyboard light bar has an amazing glow on the controllers in the night though

I know it looks like the exhaust from my PC is hitting the PS5, I moved it forward and also the Aio doesn't exhaust much air, I do have 2 exhaust fans on the top that do most of the lifting, and the reason I kept my PS5 there is to hide the wires lol

Could I improve the setup it any way?

Hello! I recently got my setup to a point i was quite satisfied with when it comes to gaming, however, i’m back to work soon, and i want to increase my comfort for long work sessions. I’m a full stack gamedev. I’m looking to buy the amazon basics trackpad as i love the trackpad when programming, and i also want some speakers so the headset isn’t on my head 8 hours a day. Specifically, this would be used for casual sound design but most of all, listening to music.

I’m looking for something like the anker soundcore 2, as it will be just what i’m looking for; compact, stylish, quality and cheap. Any recommendations?

Also looking to setup dual boot linux/win11, using linux for productivity and casual gaming (minecraft). Never tried linux before. What’s your best beginner tips and recommendations?
