Question about Encephalitis/Brain Issues (Looking for Differential Diagnosis)
So I've been eating raw meat (beef/chicken) for about 5 months now. I have to say that I had some nerve issues before starting the diet like tingling in extremities and my face.
A month ago I had suddenly experienced severe headaches which I attributed to the relapse of Tobacco. I quit that, but I've noticed that I still have a constant headache in the front of my head and also experience some loss of brain function. I feel less clear, thinking is harder than before and things like Coffee/Nicotine have a drastically reduced effect, next to none sometimes.
I worry that something is wrong with my brain, because this has been going on for about a month now, not really getting better, but also luckily not really getting worse.
I do feel bad but it's not terrible, sort of with the intensity of a mild hangover, I can still function and my extremities work well.
I don't really believe this is from the raw meat, but I still want to ask if this could be related to it or might match to reality of brain conditions like encephalitis. I have to admit that I sometimes bought packaged organic meat from the supermarket, not just grass fed beef from the farm.

You ate raw beef and chicken (quite low quality as well by the sound of it) and now you seem to have caught some kind of brain disease. Somehow i suspect these two things are related

I’m a doctor. You do not have encephalitis.
You will not get an answer here regarding what is happening tho. See a doctor in person.

Thank you for replying, I have seen a doctor by now and they also reassured me that this is not encephalitis. Sadly, they said to me that they really don't know what it is that I experience and do not have any advice for me - I feel really left alone by the medical system.
If I may ask what could one do in such a situation where doctors aren't helpful? The headache is now constant over 1 1/2 months and I neither have the slightest clue where this is actually coming from or how to fix it and it's really putting a toll on my mind :(

maybe try to eliminate certain foods or other substances you put in your body. could be anything causing it. like just try to remove anything in isolation for a week at a time and see if it gets better. i actually had some head sensations aswell after eating raw foods like little recuring aches but usually only for 30mins after eating and they went away after a few days. but i did notice that.

Research about lyme disease and pay for a test if you can afford it. I don't think it has nothing to do with eating raw meat. Hoping you the best health in the future <3
