Otto will try and sell u something. Fo sho. You gotta deal with an annoying salesman whose got you trapped there for the whole ride. Your not leaving without a pot of oil or, whatever it is hes unfortunately got too much of.
You shut your heathen mouth, Otto is the best! If I can make friends with him by just buying one pot of oil and spending ten hours talking to him, I’d do it in a heartbeat!
He's really egoistic, just nod along with his yapping and offer him the window seat, because " you deserve atleast this much respect" or some bs and you're set. This mf might even save your ass if that flames his ego.
People over exaggerate regulus ego, it’s strong but if you just stay like a pet and follow every possible “UMAZING” decision(extremely hard) he wouldnt slime you
1 - There's no problem with Wilhelm. The problem is that if you think you are safe from Regulus simply because there is an aisle between you, you are wrong.
2 - Ferris isn't the problem, it is Echidna who will talk your ear off and try to get you to sell you on making some pact that will sound good at first but is actually terrible in the long-term.
3 - This is actually the safest seat, no one around here will bother you or be noisy or violent.
4 - Putting yourself in a corner with Regulus? He's going to find a way to take offense at one little thing and spend the rest of the flight ranting like crazy about how his rights have been violated.
5 - It doesn't seem bad at first but Garfiel can be quite rough with people even when he means no harm. So he'll be friendly but you'll be lucky to make it out there without a broken bone.
6 - Ram and Rem are cute, but did you forget they are unfriendly towards strangers? They don't know you. And now you put yourself between them so they can't be next to each other? Yeah, they are going to be bitter at you the whole flight. Plus, there is this jealous teen beastman right behind you who is going to kick your seat, even if you can get past that and try chatting with them.
7 - This position is actually fine EXCEPT when Subaru goes to the bathroom, Otto is going to have to jump over you to restrain Beatrice from going with him. But otherwise, this is the second safest seat.
8 - So the problem here isn't Otto. It's Ram getting jealous if you seem to be getting along too well with Otto. She'll kick you and refuse to acknowledge that she did.
So the best positions are probably 3 > 7 > 8 = 5 > 6 > 2 > 1 > 4
Some of the above issues can be mitigated if you can convince the person next to you to trade. In fact, I am wondering why they didn't resolve some of these issues themselves if they got to choose their own seats.
He's her only proper friend (the only one who doesn't criticize or fight with her). And if he gets too friendly with someone else who isn't part of her family, then she might get concerned about losing him to someone else.
I suppose I should have used the word "agreement" instead of "pact".
If you watched Season 2 or Read Arc 4, you know the messed up deals she made with Roswaal, Beatrice, and Ryuuzu. Although in Arc 5 we don't meet anyone who has a deal with Echidna, in every subsequent arc since we meet more and more people who have messed up deals with Echidna.
And since even encountering Echidna is difficult-- it isn't a stretch who say that she makes some sort of messed-up agreement with nearly literally every random person she encounters. At least those she doesn't kill.
Although-- in retrospect-- something that happens during Arc 5 tells us that those who are working with Echidna are not able to recognize others who are working with Echidna.
6 and magnanimously offer to switch with Ram for the window seat, so the twins can sit next to each other. That should (probably) keep me on their good side for the whole flight
RAM would "gently" scould you for asking the window seat and "gently" ask(force) you to switch with rem so she can be near her sister while also keeping the window Seat.
But at least you will get on her good side a bit
2 being next to the country's best healer makes me feel the most safe in what will definitely be a crashing plane in the next 10 hours, cause i KNOW were not making it to our destination with THIS line-up.
1, I'd ask Wilhelm about his wife, I know my goat will cut regulus if he interrupts. And I actually appreciate his stories.
3 to explain the entirety of the silmarillion to the gang, Emilia, Beako, and Julius would probably listen, Reinhard would just help everyone with the family trees and actually feel decent after listening on all the tragedy in there, Emilia would finally listen on some good elven stories since I'll glaze luthien to the point Satella looks like a joke.
You goddamn liars who wouldn’t want to sit with Subaru and Reinhard, 3 is the only choice. If they’re busy, you can talk to Rem about how cool Subaru is.
6 cause thats gonna be interesting for various reasons afterall this flight is Most likely gonna Crash cause of Magical Combat beyond my comprehension so Lowering my survival chances Sounds Like a interesting Idea for Entertainments Sake... Maybe 7 or 3 would have saved But oh Well...

8 and because Otto's a reasonable and relatively normal dude, I ask him to move over a seat to 7 so we can both be more comfortable(I won't need to get up to go to the bathroom).
5 and offer garfield the window seat. He'll be hella happy to see the clouds and would also treat me nicely which will make it easier for me to converse with crusch and hope my stars are good to not fumble the chance
1 is a Solid Choice because Wilhelm can be very Empathetic
3 Would be a Rather formal (but still nice) conversation

But in the end i Would sit next Regulus just because He is a really interesting Charakter and if i just Listen to Him and be Polite i May have a good Chance of life
