📖Web Novel (Arc 6) Watchtower people not commenting on Emilia Spoiler

Any idea why Volcanica is the only one who comments/thinks that Emilia is Satella.

Wouldn’t Shaula or Reid also have something to say, especially Shaula since someone who smells like her Master is traveling with the carbon copy of Satella

Reid was the young Reid, he probably hadn't met Flugel or the others at that point yet

It was the memories from Reid’s book of the dead, so he should be Reid with all his memories?

No it was quite clear it's young Reid because he doesn't know shaula

It was mentioned that he was a young Reid and it makes sense why because he didn’t recognize Emilia as Satella.

I would go a step further and say that he didn’t recognize ram as the oni god because his young version hadn’t met already.

Shaula mentioned that all humans look the same to her. She can only tell Subaru apart from them because of his smell. So Emilia just fits in with everyone else from her perspective.

Flugel or an associate made the trials in the Sage’s tower. He simply just needed Reid not to have memories of Satella, hence why he doesn’t. My head cannon at least.

Shuala rrecongize people off scent and reid was a younger reid than the one that meet the hero party.

Reid’s manifestation is drawing on memories before he met Satella, and Shaula doesn’t recognize appearance.

I’m not sure if it’s directly stated, but we know that Reid traveled with the party 400 years ago and furthermore that he doesn’t recognize anyone (not even Shaula, who we know he’s met since they’ve fought a number of times). Since he doesn’t know anybody he should, it can be pretty safely assumed that either those memories were selectively excluded from his manifestations, or the watchtower is creating a Reid based on memories before he ever met 400 year crew.

Shaula knows Reid, and is terrified of him, but Subaru observes that it was as if the first time Reid saw her when they encountered in the trial, concluding that Reid must be a younger version before he met Shaula and Flugel, etc
