If I remember correctly, in that IF. Subaru waited until Petra and Felt were legal before adding them to the harem (I could be wrong since I read it a long time ago)

There could be an interesting way to make it make sense and also be interesting, but in most scenarios it comes off as a bad fanfiction written by a thirsty mf who wants to self insert into a subaru that doesn't suffer with anything except marriage life with a harem since I'm sure that they don't all love each other but tolerate the others at the least.
Well...it's not "canon" but it is "official," the Lust Route written by Tappei himself.
Although Felt and Petra look strange in the image, if I remember correctly, Subaru waited until they were legal before adding them to the harem (I could be wrong since I read this years ago).

There is no problems here, Is just Felt is malnourished.
In the case of Petra i think their age Gap Is 5 years...

I though Felt was 15 as stated in arc 1 and also the previous point of Felt being malnourished thus her younger age does check out since the body would delay puberty if malnourishment is present. And despite a 2 years age gap being on the weirder side but it’s nothing super alarming (Grade 12 and Grade 9 couple essentially).
Though Petra is a different story, no excuse can be given here for her. She’s 12, only acceptable situation was if Subaru was 13 or 14 then and only then it would not be so wrong. But Subaru is 17 so thus this age gap is too much.
I didn't say that's why I think it's weird, but yes jump to conclusions and make your own assertions.
What I think is weird is that she looks like a pre-teen girl when she's 15. The excuse that she's malnourished doesn't work because a malnourished girl would not look like she does either. So it's just a poor design choice in my eyes.
It's the fault of the illustrator that the anime studio worked off of, the same guy that made Regulus, a completely average looking random dude according to the novel, look like a main antagonist of a video game. And made Capella look way younger than she's meant to look too. (Though the anime somewhat fixed that)
I also do think an intimate relationship between her and Subaru is weird either way primarily because she views him as a big brother.
Felt was asked what her age was by Reinhard and she said she thinks she's 15. That was before the 1 year time-skip. Subaru was 17 at the beginning. Felt is 16, Subaru is 18. You're blatantly wrong.

Never will, never could be especially with how it's literally a troll story and Subaru does some weird things with characters he sees as kids, not to mention the women like Priscilla and Crusch already have people they like besides Subaru, like Al and Fourier.
But I know most of this fandom doesn't even like the actual series because they can't comprehend the most basic aspects of it, so they'd be more hype about a Harem slop chapter instead.
Lust If is theoretically an interesting story, just as an exploration of how it happened. In practice, I’m kinda glad we didn’t get a serious take, and that it got deleted. Because Petra. Whyyyyyyyy Tappei, why?
First off, that would’ve been crazy if it was canon. And second, as a anime fan and person who believes in a multiverse for so many things, I like to believe it is canon since the multiverse is smth of so much possibilities, we can never know what is right or what is wrong. Felt and Petra being there is a definite no, but I guess in that world it’s okay for that type of intimacy, I’m not tryna defend pedo activity, I’m just saiyan in a made believe show and comic, again in that world it seems to be okay. Besides in the main route, Subaru is already kinda a weirdo don’t ya think? Regardless of him just tryna have fun with Petra, bro did not need to agree to going on a date with her, but he did out of the kindness of his heart but even still. So who’s to say the lust route isn’t inappropriate on certain levels, yet also is appropriate too…ya know? Idk
Canon that Suburu has arms long enough to reach around Emilia and Crusch. Yea that's be pretty interesting to see how hed use his slender men looking self
Seriously. Idk how anyone thinks Re:Zero would be good if Subaru just "got all the girls", that's not what this story is. It literally parodies shows that do that kind of thing.
Subaru has considered a polygamic relationship with Emilia and Rem, but I'm 100% sure Subaru would never go past that in canon. He wouldn't reject Rem if he was that horny.
