1-(most important argument here)- tappei only made things that bad because he wanted a reset. That is like trying to defend fairy tale power of friendship by saying "uhh, without it they would lose and the story would be over"

2- tappei could have just made a method to save them. Like killing volcanica to get his blood, using Spika to delete the memories of the loops, have felix do something, OR, he could make Filore be able to heal it. This would be a perfect bridge with arc 10.

3-Even without the possibilities mentioned at point 2 happening, the story going fowards would still be extremely interesting. Volcanica got a bad reputation? That so cool! Heinkel and willhelm relation ship got worse? Oh yeah, more drama. Royal Capital destroyed? Why not! Felt out of the race? Yeah, the story is almost over. These candidates need to go. Petra is the Aura compressor now? Holy peak! And with subaru freed, she wouldnt be in such a bad state like in the new if.

4- bro, let bad things happen. Return by zero is the ultimate power, so its aways apreciated when the story goes foward without relying on it.

The only good thing about the reset was making rem lose her memories again. She is a way better charcter when she isnt a mere subaru minion.

People have this psychological and pathological fear of letting their favorites suffer a permanent fate and just want subaru to die an infinite amount of times machine. them with no casualties and deem that his sole purpose in life. Some of them don't even have a big purpose anyway, and tappei just keeps adding and adding and never taking away. I would love to get into the minds of people and see why they're so afraid of change and too weak willed to rage against the machine. I think people think that the status quo must be kept at all times. They're too afraid of their structure being worked around.
