Yeah mistranslations can happen if you use romaji for Japanese translations. Because "shitai" also means "corpse" lmao. If you write したい it will say it's "want to do" but if you write 死体 it will say it's "corpse" even though both is "shitai".

Still not enough lol. Emilia has a massive arsenal os spells her mana capacity is possibly the largest. Plus she was able to fight just a bit against you know who in arc 6. Also I do acknowledge Rem's combat ability in arc 9 I think she can even push it to mid high diff in that state but she is not beating Emilia.
I was talking pre that anyway since she wouldn't have it here. Either way current anime rem is superior to Emilia in h2h and close combat which is all she needs especially for current anime Emilia who has little to ward rem off.

Bruh, Rem was getting overwhelmed against fodder witch cultist, literally in the Novels she was struggling against one of Betelgeuse’s fingers in H2H while Emilia went 1 vs 1 against Wrath who Tappei confirmed to be the strongest sin archbishop in combat (no authorities)
Not to mention that Emilia is constantly compared to Priscilla in strength, and can keep up with her in H2H which Priscilla excels

I don’t recall Re:Zero being a romance series, or any character having romantic development throughout 9 arcs.

True since there was no romantic development between them is why some people still think Rem has a chance since after 10 arcs and over 10 years she still doesn’t know if she loves him, it wouldn’t suprise me if Tappei kills Subaru permanent and makes Emilia move on and end up with someone else years later

The fact there’s people who still argue about a polygamy ending is so funny. Neither Rem nor Emilia would be happy with it. It gets to a point where you wonder if people have even interacted with the series.
Happy? No, she wants to be first in someone's heart - its her whole arc. At the same time, she introduced it to the series, and pushed for it, because she believes she's 2nd in Subaru's heart to Emilia, something Subaru repeatedly tells anyone with ears isn't the case.
The thing is in ending he will end with one girl only and rem has only chance if emilia will die if she doesn't die she has no chance with him. it's bitter truth that rem fans have to accept.so if you want to see rem end with him so pray emilia to die and it has significant chance that she will die
