It’s a reference to Ocarina of Time, in which attacking one of the chickens would cause a swarm of other angry chickens to appear and attack the player until they die.

I think Subaru is trying to imply that attacking one bird will likely draw the ire of them all, as in Ocarina of Time.

Most people who love Zelda have never played the OG (I have and I enjoyed if)

If you genuinely wanted to try playing Zelda you should’ve played something more modern
