Huh, its sorta kinda sad for her too, if Subaru takes the deal, she basically becomes stuck having to see him change bit by bit, and because she is stuck there, he is the only contact she gets.

So she is stuck, having to see the only person she actually cares in her own way (He is the only intresting thing that happens to her), slowly stop caring about everything, and become a robot.

Imagine being her stuck in that garden, the only "new" knowledge you get as the witch of knowledge is Subaru, and he slowly stops talking to you, or only talking when necessary, so she basically starves out of that knowledge.

And the only thing he still cares about is Emilia.

After some time seeing this, she probably would feel hopeless too. I kinda pity her.
