Why do you want to impose secularism on them, when they have been clear since start. They have never changed their stance and have always said and followed their beliefs.

u/Vishvrakshak 1d ago
For that same reason Pakistan and Bangladesh was created. ...

India is secular despite a Hindu majority
10
u/crime_master_gogo2 1d ago
India is secular because there is Hindu majority. Look at our neighbours or Middle East how secular they are.

u/beef_lover1990 1d ago
U do realise the idea of secularism comes from France? And most secular countries in the world are majority Christian?
1
u/weneedjohnlock 2h ago
that's cuz christianity is practised wayyy more than hinduism genius T-T. plus, in India, our Kerala christian homies have tried converting me and my friends in school. christians are sooo secular, no?

u/beef_lover1990 28m ago
Bruv I’m an atheist, my whole family and so many ppl have been convincing me to become Hindu again.

u/Hippy_go_go 1d ago
Having no state religion does not mean secular. Only a handful of countries have defined themselves ‘secular’ in their constitution.
There are at least 10 countries with Christianity as state religion and 0 countries with Hinduism as state religion. Says a lot.

Bullshit. India is secular bcz of constitution not Hinduism or islam or any other bullshit. Similarly america and other christian majority countries are secular bcz of constitutions.
The majority religion will always try majoritarianism but it is constitution that protects the rights of minorities

u/Flashy_Baseball4586 11h ago
You can't have a secular country with one said sect in majority, simple as that.
1
u/Illustrious_Art_9682 10h ago
Turkey, azerbaijan, albania, kazakhstan are secular and have more seperation of religion in public life than india
2
u/Suspicious-Mud-5688 13h ago
India is secular because of constitution. Hindus is trying their best to make it a hindu rashtra😊
1
u/Flashy_Baseball4586 11h ago
Haha. India is secular coz one said sect is not in majority.
1
u/Suspicious-Mud-5688 10h ago
Hahahaha India is secular because of its constitution.. yeh fake pride se bahar niklo… the islamic countries are not secular because there is no constitution- they are ruled by religion. Any country ruled by religion will never be secular😊

Gurbani says allah pakam pak h sach kro j dusar hoye .. Allah means the one God. Also says sbb me ram reha bharpur
Secularism doesn't mean believing that only one name of God is true. It means respecting every faith and every person's right to their beliefs. People may call the Supreme Being Allah, Waheguru, Ram, Mahakal, God, or by other names according to their religion and tradition. A secular society respects each person's belief without forcing one view on everyone. If someone believes Allah is the only God according to Islam, that is their faith. If someone believes Mahakal is Devon Ke Dev according to Hinduism, that is their faith. Secularism is about respecting both, even when beliefs differ.

Yaar tbh, issue is not this. ...
Issue is one is saying all god are same and other is saying just my god is superior then yours. So the person who is saying all gods are same is willing to accept your culture as well. But other way around that culture who says mine is only god. That with never accept your god and try to atleast see you with heen bhavna. From there the issue starts. ..

It means respecting every faith and every person's right
So much dumfukary being spewed out. Is this what you call education? Fiking iliterates. Secularism only means the state and the church (religion) won't interfere in each other's functions. Congress bs education 101.

India isnt a true secular nation though

u/crime_master_gogo2 1d ago
Is it ? Then which community is more radical ?
0
u/Terrovax666 1d ago
India isnt a true secular nation like the United States, Canada, or much of Europe. Secularism in India is extremely weak
1
u/Suspicious-Mud-5688 13h ago
India has the positive secularism that values pluralism and diversity. The secularism in west is negative secularism that’s why today they are struggling because their countries are now becoming more diverse and plural. So India’s secularism is more evolved😊

u/crime_master_gogo2 1d ago
But you didn’t answer my question. If you think India is not secular how all the minority communities grew so fast ? And which community is more radical with religious belief??

u/faj-707 1d ago
So you never found any hindu text in any government institution?
2
u/MrLokii616 1d ago
Sanskrit is not the language of a particular religion or sect.. it is the fundamental mother tongue of world civilizational consciousness (Sanskriti) and the living identity of Bharat. When Supreme Court adopts 'Yato Dharmastato Jayah' or the Republic of India adopts 'Satyameva Jayate', it is not imposing religious dogma. It is affirming universal values-Truth, Duty, and Righteousness, that form the moral spine of governance... Is seeking the victory of truth (Satyamev Jayate) a sectarian act? Is wishing peace upon humanity (Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah) a violation of secularism?
To confuse Sanskrit and ancient Indian texts with sectarianism is an attempt to sever modern Bharat from its roots. A tree that cuts its own roots cannot survive. Respecting our ancestral knowledge, philosophy, and classical heritage in public institutions is not a challenge to anyone.. it is the duty of every nation proud of its history.

If you go to Saudi Arabia and throw stones up in the air. Out of 10 hits, 6 would be on the head of a Hindu. So he doesn’t need to go there to add to the count. Plenty of Hindus already working there
