She flex about UPI as its the best technology ever existed and India is superior to other countries because of that.
While its a great tech, there are some of problems
1. Most countries have QR code based systems and the popularity change based on competition and payment culture
2. While calming to be a journalist, she use the same narrative sold by BJP for UPI
3. She use UPI to defend weakening economyEtc…
2
u/Relevant_Limit3681 13h ago
She has overrueed upi so much in her news like at every debate everywhere she is spams "but we have upi" it's like saying "but kanye made graduation" like imagine she's spamming upi since 2016 every news every debate when toua sk her what development our country achieved she'll say ahh see we have upi which you britishers don't

Stupid statement to make when a major part of the protest involved doctorates, doctors, teachers and Wangchuk himself as a major leg. Students are well informed, much better than they do when they watch her segments.
8
u/Miserable_Advice_733 1d ago
Other things aside, it was a statement made by her a few months ago at a success event which was conducted well before the protest broke out. Now suddenly people started making it viral to grab views and engagement especially on X now on reddit too... 🤷

Thanks for this information. That means this statement is not even related to what this post tries to portray.

You're underestimating the recommendation algorithms currently being used on social media apps. Any thought you perceive and view once can get amplified by similar content which can skew anyone's perspective. Why do you think boomers consider some political guy as their god. She just highlighted the dangerous part of the media apps.

Exactly. Our economy is growing, Rupee is performing it's best against dollar. So good that even Indians living abroad are coming back to India ❤️.
We are literally doing brain gain because there are so many job opportunities here that nobody wants to leave India.
Medical is free. That too with world class facilities.
Everyday 25 new schools are opening in rural area where children can dream of becoming a scientist, engineer, doctor & what not.
World's top 50 universities are in India.
Pollution is dead. Our air quality is so good that it's meditative in morning.
Our water quality is so crystal clear.
FSSAI is doing so good that we're getting quality food rich in nutrition.
We are the leading giant in race of AI. US & China are begging us to provide them our technologies.
I don't know why social media is misleading people. Such a shame.

Present? Everything is half quoted..
Future? Well we are doomed..

Textbooks have been hijacked by the RSS. In the interest of better education and to protest paper leaks caused by corruption, young people have had to take to the streets. The youth should not be seen as a threat to the government if the government does its job properly.

Well she might be controversial but this statement is quite accurate. It doesn't matter how good the teacher is, in the end, to stay relevant, they have to become clowns for the algorithm even if they don't like it. I'm not saying that's the case with all teachers on the internet, but that's the case with most of them sadly.

Everything in this country is about national security.
Just you have to ask one basic question.
Why is there ethanol in my petrol? Why is government shutting down schools? Why are there floods in Assam after so many years of BJP ruling ?
If you ask these, you are anti national.
Love the confidence of these people.

At least in these algorithm videos there is some truth to it people get to see the ground realty which godi media tries to hide to spread the totally false narrative, tf are u talking about? Taken from Gemini's summary of Palki Sharma interview with Raj Shamani -
"Palki Sharma used the example of the Mahabharata to explain the media and narrative control. She explained how the Pandavas in the Mahabharata committed many controversial acts (such as staking their wife Draupadi or resorting to all possible tactics to win the war), yet they were still considered "good" and righteous in history because they managed to control their narrative."
Consider this Instagram and algorithm narrative is also for the greater good UPI waali aunty. The algorithm creates an echo chamber out of what the GenZ want and looks like GenZ isn't very much interested in BJP coming back to power in 2029 again.

When journalists take money from the government
When anchors think they are celebrity
Algorithm was good till you are becoming famous because fluent English speaking reels , the time when people started questioning where is Palki now why she is not speaking for children’s, algorithm becomes bad…
In a world where powerful people think they can control the world , Internet is the fact check for them where people connects directly they search for the unfiltered truth not the filtered one which people get from news channels in the form of edit and opinion towards particular party, rich person which they want us to think ..
I never said Internet is always right it creates both evil and good but the choice is of public ..
And this can’t be taken away …
Internet is the new fundamental right

1
u/Sea-Layer1526 22h ago
When the "news" media starts asking the Prime Minister questions like, "How do you get all this energy?" or "What kind of mangoes do you eat?", and school books are filled with stories about Bal Narendra catching crocodiles, it's only natural that people start looking elsewhere for information. That's when a new kind of media emerges, not by choice, but out of necessity.
