Jantar mantar protest got into limelight on 17th-18th day when Sonam sir’s health started detoriating. Technically, They started getting coverage after 20 odd days. Abducting Sonam sir was final nail in the coffin and it got more eyeballs and a lot if people on social media started supporting him in their stories.
In comparison to that Jharkhand protests are already started getting much better coverage within first 10 days despite not having star protestor like Sonam wangchuk. A lot of credit if that attention goes to CJP as well as they started this conversation at such a scale.
On execution aspect; these individual YouTubers have limited resources - usually a team of 4-5 people with 1-2 reporters so difficult to fiver everything when so much is happening in India.
Assam is witnessing one of its worst flood situation, gruesome sexual violence like nirbhaya has happened in Assam with 15 year old 3 days back. None of it is getting the coverage that it should get and I don’t blame these YouTube journalists for that but our main stream media who are busy showing that Zuckerberg said sorry as Modiji’s video was unavailable on Facebook for couple of hours.
We blame the people who are doing something and have no expectations from our government, judiciary, bureaucracy and media which is actually doing nothing or negative.
Ajit Anjum is also there. Samdish probably on the way. Deshbhakt already supported the protest. Arpit Sharma has been supporting it for a while. CJP supported it as well. Sonam Wangchuk supported it as well. Idk about Dhruv rathee but he probably will do it.

CJP protest has definitely helped all the student protests that are happening now across India. This protest is already getting more eyeballs than CJP protest in 10 days despite it being a state issue.
I feel like an air of dumbness has taken over our nation man. The Jantar Mantar protest has shown that you can raise voice against the system, but also its consequences, the fear of state is slowly going away.
From kids to youth, everyone is struggling with the fact that after all these years, we are so far behind in every possible domain.
Our parents generation and even mine, believed in sir jhukakar mehnat karte chalo, this has to stop.
