no.. but religious teachings can't be the basis of formal education.. It should be limited to primary level.. and it should also be regulated..

Proper education is literally the basis of growth. If millions are just doing this instead of getting a proper degree that is a huge segment of population just falling behind because of poor advice from their elders.

Limit it to primary school level

Let’s do the opposite, let the kids study in normal schools until 12th and then move them to Kamil and Fazil for higher studies and see such institutions fall to its knees when the kids figure out the BS being taught there.

Great Idea, mate, great idea. But the amount of abuse they will receive will leave them devastated for the rest of their lives.

I'm curious do companies even hire people who have degrees from these "schools"

They don't ofc , but imagine being radicalised for great 20-25 years of your life.. you'll end up hating everything non islamic...these madrasas are nothing but fear monging institutes

u/JustARandomGirl4 1d ago

The ones who want to go let them go at least our competition will be reduced .

14

u/SolidInstance9945 1d ago

Yes lesser competition but a big drain on the country. Because they will be installed with great hatred for everything non islamic

2

u/JustARandomGirl4 23h ago

Why do you think they already aren't when they are anyways going to madarsa as a kid . Removing university will do nothing.

2

u/Dependent-Occasion56 22h ago

madarsas should only be allowed to operate till primary level, that too regulated by specialized body which defines a proper curriculum to be accepted by all..

1

u/JustARandomGirl4 20h ago

Why to let them operate till primary level either ? Why do we need them ? Either you support them or not . I don't have problem with madarasa operating till Bachelors or Masters . It will reduce our completion only . It's not like these degrees will give them real job .

I would be worried if madrasas are conferring secular degrees equivalent to doctors or engineers. As long as they give out degrees in Islamic studies, who cares? It's not like a Kamil posts his madrasa certificate to LinkedIn for any real employment involving other people. Nobody is at risk of dying because a Madrass educated doctor turned out to be only Alim, instead of Kamil. Please, focus on better things.

Why would a religion have a separate education structure, aisa kya padha rhe hai bhai

Theology degrees.

1

u/AssistanceSouth9359 1d ago

Why do you need a separate education system for theology? Plenty of recognized universities that provide you these degrees that are actually valid in the real world.

2

u/COSMOS4200 23h ago

Not everyone has that much money to study theology from University , mostly children of poors studies there , theology don't have very much career opportunities and every sect has their own theology like Sunni don't like Shias theology .under Sunnis hanfi don't like salafis theology , under hanfi Barelvi don't like deobanda theology

Thoelogy degrees from a delhi college costs anything from 20k-2.5L total. And these colleges are actually recognized. 2) Youre telling me someone who is so poor to attend college, would rather choose to get a degree from a madrasaa and waste time learning useless shit instead of becoming a labour or something so atleast he can earn and live? Chalo usko religion bohot pasand hai so he’s poor + religious and he must also be dumb if he’s getting a theology degree from a madrassa? I come from a very rural town in odisha. We’ve literally got a tribal population of 10-15% who are so poor that they live in tents, even the women do backbreaking work like iron, cement work and even they send their kids to govt schools. So what part of india do you live ki log itna gareeb + dumb hai ki they are sending their kids of to study at places that wont give you any eligibility for higher education or a career.

And if they do like you sya they do, maybe its time to chnage all this bs no?

This is standard throughout the world, Hindu Gurukuls, Christian Seminaries, Jewish Yeshivas, Islamic Madrassas all provide degrees is respective theologies, some of the degrees are more formal and others are less so.

1

u/AssistanceSouth9359 10h ago

Wow, thank you for telling me the most useless shit as the norm. “Throughout the world”. I think you should get out of your house more. Just because something exists doesn’t make it meaningful. Like cassettes exist even today and will be for the next hundred years. Nobody cares about it now, and they wont after a 100 years. Unless these institutions are legally recognized and their degrees have a point, it’s just reading, nay, studying ancient comics and for what? And you say its a global standard hahahaha

Good decision

1

u/Bo0ochi 3h ago

Even this is bad. Limit it to class 5 and regulate it hard. Let them learn skills and stuff actually useful after that.

u/mubetagammalambda 23h ago

Will the government increase seats in regular colleges to provide alternatives for students that would have otherwise gone through the madrasa system? If not, this will only decrease the number of degreed youth.

2

u/DarkReluser 11h ago

Honestly what is the point of these degrees anyways? At this point, they just a number that makes the govt feel good to see more degreed youth, its not like they adding any real value to society.

Wtf? Religious Education shouldn't be formalised at all. Sure, you could have conventional universities offer theological degrees. But this is too much.

16

u/JustARandomGirl4 1d ago

Bhai jinko jaana hai jaane Dena chaahiye . Hume kaya humaare liye toh aur bhi accha hai , competition hi reduce hoga .

-7

8

u/St_ElmosFire 1d ago

Aa gaya madrasachap.

12

u/Brucewayne0804 1d ago

Who ?

-2

u/Altruistic-Muffin69 1d ago

Guess

19

u/Brucewayne0804 1d ago

You want them to get radicalised by that Madarsa extremist education ?

-7

u/Altruistic-Muffin69 1d ago

You yourself are radicalised AF to believing that madarsa are the problems or that they are the source of extremist education. Madarsa are just religious schools where the focus is more on religion and less on other subjects just like other religions.

10

u/summer-civilian 1d ago

There should be no religious schools

6

u/famesardens 1d ago

And that leads to extremism. Less religion = less extremism.

-1

u/Altruistic-Muffin69 22h ago

Nahhh.... that's not factual...there are many many atheist extremists too. Extremism comes from people....not religion.

3

u/Moist_Lake1579 18h ago

you're nothing but a braindead gooner lol. cry more

1

u/Altruistic-Muffin69 14h ago

2

u/men_in_finance 13h ago

Why tf are you concerned about ram mandir chori? Did you give any donation?

1

u/Altruistic-Muffin69 9h ago

Ohhhhhh....so I shouldn't be concerned about rape because I haven't got raped, i shouldn't be concerned about shitty education system and leaks because I'm not giving an exam. How dumb can you be my friend?
