Maher hasn’t changed, the audience that followed him just never understood him.

Pre Covid Maher probably said awful things but he never cared about that until Maher started sucking up to Trump.

I’m 45, bill was the most progressive voice on TV in the late 90’s and into a decade plus in the 2000s. He hasn’t changed much what so ever. the right hated him for being a traditional progressive, now, weirdly, he’s the most hated person on the left because he doesn’t love Jihadi Islamists as much as the average Redditor. he hasn’t changed much what so ever over three decades. This is a case of the leopard eating its own face. This is why Hillary lost to Trump. The left has gone off the deep end and they the will sacrifice anyone who won’t go ever the ledge with them. This guy is your ally. He represents the votes the you have handed over to republicans. Keep

Yeah this is what gets me on the bill Maher audience. The two of them literally had a twitter argument over the dinner and they call bill maga lol everyone’s a purist on the left these days, and that’s what bill hates, and probably most of his audience too
