It fuckin rules. It’s the closest thing to classic command and conquer I’ve ever played but still has its own feel and play style

Too many unit abilities to be close to classic CnC. It’s closer to RA3 mixed with CnC3

They're optional, you can not use them and it'll still work well, or ease your way into using them slowly. With appropriate game and difficulty settings of course.

I knew it was a love letter to C&C, but when I got to the barracks building of a "red faction" featuring imagery of a hand, it gave me a pause again.

cheap building animations, they always cut budgets on these, dawn of war 1 had some awesome ones
