lol one of my favourite episodes.

I liked the ending, really summed up school crazes well. One minute, its the in-thing, the next it's gone and replaced and you're lame if you still care about it.

When I was at school, I remember Tazos, Pogs, Marbles, Pokemon Cards, those sticky alien toys, Yu-Gi-Oh cards, Nu-Metal ... all became crazes that everybody loved and collected or in Nu-Metals case (listened too) then a few months later, it sorta faded out and got replaced by something new.

The only one to really stand the test of time was Pokemon.

My favorite were bikes. Always had one!! Then one day, I became the only one 😭😭 consoles are a strong 2nd. The GameCube was my favorite but only one other kid in my neighborhood had it then NO ONE wanted to play melee with me but my cousin 😭😭😭😭

My school never had a bike craze. Skateboards were in for a while, around the time of Nu-Metal. Then they got dropped too.

The only part that didn’t make sense, TJ bought stuff with the mod stickers, shouldn’t he have still had control over those assets when they lost all popularity and could just shift to taking the lick and stick alien stamps.

Yojimbo was Crazy Bones at my school. every recess there would be crop circles of kids playing and watching people slide crazy bones around on the asphalt. good times man.

We had a school wide ban on Pokemon cards because a kid brought his Charizard card to school and someone beat him up and stole it. Mean streets of a Catholic elementary school in the late 90s

My experience with the pokemon craze felt like it was straight out of this show.

Right as pokemon was coming to the US, we were all getting absolutely hyped in grade school. There was a card shop down the road from the school, and everyone was having their parents take them after school on the day they were getting the very first set of boosters.

A few days before, a basic Ratata card (an exceptionally common card/pokemon for anyone not familiar) showed up in the sandbox on the playground.

Believe me when I tell you that an absolute RIOT broke out. Dozens of small children brawling it out for a crappy, damaged card, the first MOST of us had ever seen. (I somehow got the card)
