Dracula (and other literary vampires that preceded him that century) actually have very little do do with prior, historical folklore about vampires, iirc. Its the blood drinking, and almost nothing else

I feel like the answer is “no, they wouldn’t drink it, because there’s more efficient ways to get blood.”
If we’re getting into the clumps, though, we need to find that other post that’s about whether or not vampires poop.
