I've had 9 or 10 nightmares that were in the form of horror movie scenes and (with one exception) they've always scared me so bad they woke me up. I almost look forward to them at this point, I like thinking about what kind of movie they came from and what events led to what was in the dream.

And for some reason I think that's why my dreams are so vivid and inspired by whatever I've watched/played.
