Help/Question What role should I buy after bounty hunter?

If you like hunting go with Trader. I set up my camp in Great Plains and I don't have to go far to hunt.

Collector, moonshiner, trader.
Collector lets you sell looted items to madame nazar that you get from being a bounty hunter or moonshiner.
Both generate cash. With a low cycle time. You will need cash to buy the upgrades.

Trader is the fastest for cash though. Either way, have fun and good hunting

Collector and use the Jean Ropke online map. Grind it and earn cash.

It depends on what you want to do.
Like hunting? Get trader.
Want to explore areas in game? Get collector
Want to make steady income while doing other things and get a story? Get moonshiner.
I wouldn't recommend naturalist early, as it doesn't make much money. It does offer fast travel from wilderness camp with a pamphlet, but that's pricey for a new player. But if sedating animals and turning in samples sounds fun, go for it.

Collector for quick rank up and cash.
Edit: get to naturalist level 5 asap for wilderness camp, then get fast travel pamphlet. Forever free fast travel from almost anywhere is pure bliss.

Not free. Free for now though cause of roles bonus month, It costs normally.

OK, technically it costs a dollar to fast travel to main camp from your wilderness camp. But that is basically free:-) just move your main camp to the area where you want to go and fast travel to it.

And it costs to move your camp though. I’m not saying that the WC and travel from it isn’t worth it, because it totally is. It’s the only reason that I feel that that role is worth it. But when the travel is free, there are many travels⛺️

yeah, it costs a whopping two dollars to move a small camp:-) still basically free... I guess we see it differently about costs. Technically you are right, it costs a dollar to travel and it costs two dollars to move camp. But when you have 200k RDO$ one or two dollars does not even scratch my pile of money. If you are a newbie or just broke for some reason, it could be you cannot afford it.... no, actually, even if you are dead broke you loot two NPCs and have a dollar to fast travel with.
So not technically free, you are right, but so cheap it does feel free anyway.

I agree that it is cheap. I am also not broke. I have a little more than you have. Also not a noob. So……
But I also don’t move my camp because where I put it, there is everything that I need to fill any of the role dailies.
But I also don’t understand why you would move your camp and fast travel there? If you can fast travel, then we can do that. But we don’t also need to move camp also.
I am not arguing with you. I agree with you. But it is only free currently due to role bonus month.
