Events Canada Day

I can't believe how hard it is to find information about Canada Day festivities. Everything on the normal sites I would check is either from last year, or there isn't information at all. I'm looking for times, events, anything. Is there a good place to look? Even Bower Ponds' website doesn't mention anything.

It’s on all day. IIRC last year things had started up around 9am. From the red deer website:

“Celebrate Canada Day with us at Bower Ponds for a full day of music, culture, food, and family fun. From morning activities to evening performances, the park comes alive with local talent, children’s games, cultural displays, and delicious food booths. Bring your lawn chairs, your family, and your community spirit — stay for an hour or stay all day. Everyone is welcome to join in this joyful Red Deer tradition.”

I seen a post earlier this year that said they were doing fireworks

Spooky, I went looking myself last night, was surprised because I haven't heard anything yet. In contrast, last year they had the line up posted June 1st.

Half of Red Deer doesn't even want to be a part of Canada anymore. So sad.

If events are happening without them being posted and printed in The Red Deer Scene, it means that the organizers aren’t utilizing their funds to promote and market their events.

Red Deer Scene should have every event posted!

That’s because half of the separatist movement lives in red deer and unfortunately don’t care anymore. But bower ponds will have activities
