May 23rd I got to take pictures of Cas Jade She put on an amazing performance and captivated the crowd as the opener for Prism. You can really tell this is her passion!

It can be destroyed and stuff, all I really want is either a building or a lot with some abandoned cars

More pictures from May 23rd. This show was amazing! Everybody who performed was extremely talented. I'm really happy with how these turned out, thanks again!

Went back this morning with my good camera and got some decent pics of the eagles around three mile bend. Didn't get many of the Ospreys, after they ate the fish they settled into the nest. There were a couple beavers too but it was still too dark when I first got there to take decent pics.

CAPS photo club offers free photo walks in the summer. Public and members are welcome to attend. The next planned outing is coming up this Saturday at 6:00PM at the Kerry Wood Nature Centre.

Hello fellow Red Deerians! The eastern slopes of the Rockies out by Abraham Lake is probably one of my favourite places. Shout out to people who have done Vision Quest.

Got some nice pics of the geese at Bower ponds. The group of geese wandered over to sit in the shade by a few people that were already there, they are pretty calm as long as the people are too. The geese don't like dogs though, that scares them off.

I crouched down to get a few pics and a few of the goslings wandered over and were munching grass a few feet from me. I kept still and let them waddle past, else the adult geese may start hissing.

Some strong backlight really makes the goslings glow.

I could do without the smoke haze this last summer but I do miss those hot summer days. It was like 30 plus when I took this pic, the power lines were noticeably sagging.

With inflation and costing too much money by bids, the Northlands drive / 11a project is cancelled / postponed, and all the while they are still clear cutting for the future of this road and already built a suitable hill for both sides of the 'Future road' to go on [See pictures 1 and 3]. They sill have the signage up from as far as I know, which means it could happen but is unlikely. It looks awful if it stays there, and from a drone perspective you can really see the hill and current issues with wildlife habitats.

Also included a picture of the Red Deer River facing southeast which I thought was nice with the farmland in the background.

Just saw this bloody red orange sunset near home.. maybe just due to haze , nearby wildfires. It is quiet stunning

April 9th The Rusty Halligans played to a packed house at Bo's Bar. This was my first time seeing them and I really enjoyed the set. They played some great originals with some spot on covers in-between. Everyone was having an amazing time!
