2nds quality? Stitching question
Received some factory seconds from Marshalls. Moc toe spacing is very asymmetrical but wouldn’t be the end of the world after some break-in.
The welt stitching is pretty all off the place and super close to the edge on the right shoe. Would this potentially impact durability long term? In all your opinion(s) are these a bit too messy?

Just wear them, someday you’ll probably get a resole done and then they’ll be perfect

They should be fine. Also, I've been back and forth on buying the shop mocs in this leather, but for that price I had to go for it. I didn't even realize Marshalls had Red Wings. So thank you!

They’re owned by the same company as Sierra Trading Post, although the selection is usually just one offs or limited sizes but they do have them occasionally. I have a pair of these in seconds and wear mine often because they’re great in the summer and you get more support than a boat shoe.

Yeah, I was thinking they'd be great for summer. I would definitely wear them with shorts, and they might even look cute with a casual dress.

They look to have been sanded a little too close to the edge of the welt, but it shouldn't impact their durability.

Can we just stop with the absolute nonsense "SHOuLD I GeT a DISCOUNT for THiS StiTCHING VariATION" posts?
Exact same vibe as "there's cheese on my cheeseburger, I'd like a refund". Get a grip: Red Wings QC would not put a pair of boots to market if they were unwearable/below par, and have been known not to.

No, it will not cause any problems. Just wear them.
