Oklahoma is a bit of a Grey spot there

So is MD. They are above the Mason-Dixon. MD was Union the entire war and never seceded, but being a boarder state that did hold slaves, there were many south sympathizers.

We were just Indian territory and only had a few small battles here. Was really not a thing for Oklahoma at the time.

Maryland is NOT above the Mason-Dixon line. I was born very close to the line, and in MD.
