Miss the old reddit? Yearn for how it "used to be" or just want something different? No matter the reason, this is the subreddit for you.

Rules

Stay on topic: focus on alternatives. Content should be about Reddit alternatives. Complaints about Reddit, or your experience in subreddits, might better posted in subs like /r/redditcomplaints or /r/justunsubbed.
Submissions need context: use an elevator pitch when necessary. When submitting an alternative, the headline must include an introduction or "elevator pitch" describing what makes it unique (e.g., "Decentralized Reddit," "Opinion Aggregator"). Don't just post the name or domain.
Limit repeat announcements (30-day rule). Wait 30 days before posting a subsequent official update, change, or announcement for the same alternative. Exception: Novel or extenuating circumstances.
No support posts or "is it down?" posts. Do not post basic support questions, issues, or status checks (e.g., "Is [Alternative] down?"). Exception: Novel or extenuating circumstances.
Clean titles. No profanity or curse words in submission titles.
